If women are only really capable of loving their own kids, and if a woman is capable of loving her son, why does she cripple him in life by propagating the delusion of female innocence?

Because propagating that delusion will help guarantee that you are good beta provider for your offspring. This isn't about you being happy, it's about you carrying the torch. She's not deliberately crippling you, she is instinctively training you to establish circumstances which will maximize your chance at successful reproduction.

My mom was born in the 30's... whole different mindset.

She turned 78 yesterday actually and she is as upset about how our women are today as I am.

We are across the rubicon gentlemen.

That's a good one. I've been asking myself the same question for a while. But, I do genuinely think that women 1 generation ago (born 50s 60s and 70s) are different than the leeches of today.
