My list:

• "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo." Racism, xenophobia, billionaire sexual predators, incest, rape, neo-Nazis, misogyny, anti-Semitism, frivolous lawsuits, and shady dealings with the former Soviet bloc. Its Swedish title literally translates to "Men Who Hate Women."

• "Eastern Promises." Russian mafia operations in the west, and a seventy-something sociopath who pimpsout teenaged girls. I sincerely hope we get something to compare to the sauna fight.

• "The Manchurian Candidate." Just some similarities I can't quite verbalize.

• "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy," "The Night Manager," or pretty much anything else based on a John Le Carré book. Same reasoning as above.

Let's hold off on "Downfall" until we don't tempt fate any more by doing so, folks.
