I know Hillary has more experience than anyone who's ever run for President, and that she has already garnered more national newspaper endorsements than Donald, and has earned broad support from many other National Security professionals on both sides of the aisle. I also know that she hasn't been accused of sexual assault on multiple occasions with her own words acting as corroborating evidence, and that she has never mocked people's disabilities, or encouraged racist violence, or advocated xenophobic policies, or retweeted white supremacists on multipme occasions, or threatened to reduce the freedom of the press for organizations that write things she doesn't like, and she hasn't earned the favor of notorious authoritarian ruler Vladimir Putin. Furthermore I know her foundation has worked with private sector entities to save journalists unjustly inprisoned in North Korea. I know she has continually demonstrated the tempermant necessary for the job by demonstrating calm under pressure, a solid understanding of policy both foreign and domestic, and she can really rock a pantsuit.

But the other day I saw someone call her Killary, and that was it. Everything else meant nothing once I realized what a totally sick burn that is.

I saw "Trump that bitch" and even though I think her tech policies could save the US economy and get everyone back to work, even in the heartland/coal country (or whatever other depressed areas there are) and it could set us up to have a second tech boom, I thought to myself, "you know, there's not enough misogyny in the US. I wanna be made to feel like an object everyday"

Sadly your satire isn't too far from the reality of how my family thinks.

Most of my family are complete wing-nut fundies, and basically everyone in my immediate family is (I'm the 'crazy black sheep').

My dad is the type to become very uncomfortable when comedians curse, or talk about sex, or basically anything like this. I wasn't allowed to watch shows like Married with Children or The Simpsons growing up because they are from the devil.

Watching him jump through mental hoops to support Trump has been nothing short of fascinating. I bring up his 'pussy grabbing' comments and my dad will get upset at me for saying pussy, but in the same sentence say "but that's just how some people talk". I'll bring up how it's very unChristian-like to screw over small businesses like he does and he'll say "that's just the way it works", I'll bring up how he probably hasn't paid taxes in 18 years and he'll respond "We would all do that if we could get away with it", I'll bring up all the women coming out talking about how he assaulted them "yeah, they're all probably lying", I'll talk about how he would have absolutely gone unhinged had any Democratic candidate fawned over Russia like Trump has, especially since my dad clearly remembers the Cold War, but he'll say "Yeah, those days are over, we need to consider becoming closer to Russia", I'll talk about the Trump-U scandal, how he uses campaign donations for personal purchases, how he is so brazen with the idea of firing nuclear weapons - nothing - NOTHING sticks.

But you know what is a big deal? A massive bombshell much worse than anything Trump could ever do? That Hillary 'has a public face and a private face'. That's it. That's the biggie. Of course he has never read that email in context and I always tell him to read the three sentences before/after that, but he refuses.

So much of this country is so unbelievably stupid with politics that it's quite depressing.
