Here we are a little over a week out, and like it or not, this is actually a contest. Trump could win. We are talking about a racist, fascist, xenophobic, islamophobic, homophobic... idiot potentially winning the White House. This man has no legitimate or truthful proposals, is a hypocrite, a liar, and an all around terrible human being. And he may win. Why should this be surprising though? We saw Brexit, a movement based on lies and bigotry succeed all too convincingly. We saw Colombians reject peace. We are seeing new-fascist political regimes rise in Europe. It is incredible what fear of the unknown can do to people, and it is scary. Those people won't go away. Congrats America, this is what happens when you don't teach logic and reasoning in high school. Let me ask you this: if everyone cared about the truth, who would be winning? I want you to think long and hard about that... except Trump supporters have literally gotten to the point where they believe they can invent reality. Good job America.
