So my best friend was engaged once upon a time. We all know how this story ends, she cheated and the engagement ended of course. So for the last 6 months she's been begging to get back together and of course they have sex and he acts as if things will work out, then he puts his pants back on, talks shit and leaves. He always has these hilarious stories. The thing is she still hasn't caught on to the fact he isn't coming back and he's just torturing her.

So here's my question. I have a very similar story, so is the best revenge torture or simply walking away and saying "no. I'm better off"? Every ex I have ever had has tried to come back and I just give the cold shoulder with no emotion, and we all know your comes back around sooner or later. Which path is the better path to choose?

When I broke up with my ex, I cut off every possible avenue of contact she could have had with me and didn't look back. That option leaves no room for drama.

This is a doable temporary strategy as shown in your exhibit A) and B). An exit strategy should be taken seriously, immediately- beforehand if possible. We could all probably name more scenarios to drop the odds of the one way it could go down as, "It just ends nicely on its own.." from happening.

It is good that your freind found out before the wedding. If she keeps coming back, it is because she can't find anyone better. While I would suggest a clean break, who am I to judge?

avoiding any unnecessary conflict with women is probably the best route to go, so going nc and blocking any and all avenues for her to talk to your friend.

Cold shoulder and cut off all contact --> always. What's to stop her from realizing she's been had and making one easy phone call? She may never even have to meet face to face with police these days and his life could be ruined. It's one thing to have coffee with ex(I think it's a bad idea) but something else to be fucking her.

He should cut all contact. Find sex elsewhere. Playing with fire will eventually get you burned. One of those times your friend thinks hes pulling the wool over the cheaters eyes he could end up with a false rape accusation.

What if he gets this lying whore pregnant? Whos laughing then? Shes still fucking other men. Lets be real here--once a lying whore always a lying whore. What if he gets ebola from her doing volunteer work in Calais on the dl.

He needs to knock this shit off. Hes not bettering himself through this, hes massaging his ego. Its a way of not moving on from the relationship.

EDIT: A mans vengeance is nothing compared to a womans. Once she finds out shes being used for sex she could go totally mental. True, she might just have a cry and drink herself blind on banana daiquaris and leave it at that. Or she could show up at his place of work and cause him to get fired etc etc. You never know how crazy a woman can get until its over. She could suicide on online streaming social media or some shit and ruin his name forever. Trust me.

He should treat himself to new strange or an escort. Move on and stay safe.

When my ex and I broke up she said she was jealous of my success and would find a way to ruin me. One month later she told the police I had raped her in the past. I wouldn't fuck around with exes because they could destroy you.
