Hello gents, I have joined this website 1 month ago, after weeks of reading and understanding. But not all the people around here spend a lot of time reading, hence they come here, throw out their dicks and start painting until they eventually realize that the world in which they have passed their lives is a big amount of bullshit.
And it is hard catching up to the harsh truths that we already know, it is not easy to deal with the redpill rage, not easy to abandon the SJW behavior that people have screwed in our minds(at least for some of us).
There was not only a rise in trolls and tunas invading the forums, but a rise in bluepilled men, raged men, and men that have not yet swallowed the redpill, and not even embraced the MGTOW philosophy(“hello I am married but I am MGTOW, WTF?).
These men, and these guys are like paesants with forks rushing the british army with the king in front of his knights; that can only end badly for them.
And here comes my proposal:
I know that part of the MGTOW philosophy is to be free about what level you are on, from marriage avoiding to complete ghosting. But there could be a little presentation to the website/forum, that leads to the “About the MGTOW Forums” topic(like an introductive email?). A little guide for newcomers with some tips like “read something around, understand that this, this and this will result in this and this.”. The first thing that comes to my mind is the reddit side bar with books/websites etc.
I know that you can say “man, the website is filled with material, if they do not read enough is their fault”, you are RIGHT! but after you give them this little introduction which “leads” them to read a little page with tips and basics, they have no more excuses to come here and write shit, at that point we can enjoy the lapidation.To make a simple example I will use the facebook thing. To be clear I never ever had my personal informations on facebook, for that website I do not exists, and I will keep it that way. I like users like OB that say the things straight to your face, I really enjoy it because there are no opinions that can change the reality. Facebook IS shit, and avoiding it is only a smart move that a smart person should do.
So, even if I like to see OB doing his thing, it could be easier to add to the welcome format “Not facebook friendly”, or something like “Facebook users will be laughed at”(eheh, let’s put it funny, in the end using facebook or not is your choice, just do not come here and use it as an example for anything) etc.
I hope that this idea is appreciated and that it could help to reduce any future lapidation from MGTOW members towards the newbies(I am one still, so feel free to pick up a rock!).
Oh, and I fear that letting too many morons in here without a little training will turn this community into a fight arena between men, a thing that I do not want to see for sure, I already have to deal with enough bluepillers in real life.

If I am not mistaken, there is already something like that in the site, but KeyMaster is best suited to answer that.
But if I am mistaken, then you are up to something… A little bit of “rules” to the foruns and stuff is not a bad idea, really.

I agree that we could do a little welcome tour. Like a 5 minute orientation – and we made one!! – but then our ENTIRE member system changed last year… and so did many other things since then. Then asshole BBC nonsense. Website vandal attempts to break the forums. ONE FUCKING YEAR of uncertainty and outages (which you were not here for) and there were days when I (and others) worked 10/12/18 hours to bring the site back. Only in the last 2 months – for the first time in more than a year – have we been able to exhale. This represented enormous setbacks in other areas and we had to play catch up.
Now things have stabilized. But even just yesterday we made some mods & improvements to the Private Messaging system so if we make a video orientation, the shit is gonna change really quickly.
A forums FAQ is necessary I agree. And we haven’t updated the forums guidelines in AGES and hope to never have to! Men are already whipped by “rules”. It’s time to place as few restrictions as possible. Preferably none. “Rules” are not necessary (that’s what you’re trying to get away from), and our members proved it with their own ability to self-moderate. But we will refine the guidelines a bit soon.
A welcome tour is a good idea.

I was reading intro’s on Mgtow before I joined. In that time it was like I felt a divine light was shadowing me. Each story as brutal as the next one (as they came in my searches). Funny.. I have read alot of stories, I haven’t even posted my own. I think when it comes Math (I have read many of your posts 👍) to stinky tuna fish. W.e don’t need to worry. This new perception on life given from the information here is simply terrifying to those whom are here for sake of “poking the dragon”. I have felt true fear in our most famous trolls.

While it’s true that Men Going Their Own Way, by definition, cannot get married (because that’s going wifey’s way and society’s way), it’s not the case that married men cannot Go Their Own Way. Married men can. It’s called divorce.
But divorce can be a complex, difficult, and dangerous process for a man. He has to plan that shit out like the Count of Monte Fucking Cristo (which is an excellent book by the way); wheels within wheels within wheels, with contingency plans and alternative exits. That takes time. During that extended period he is unfortunately still married, but is also definitely Going His Own Way.
And if he does it right, wifey won’t know about it until he’s gone.

I know it’s no secret that OldBill & I bumped heads a couple weeks ago, or however long it’s been, and I have enjoyed reading many of his straight shooter posts.
I didn’t want to see Eqlife get scared off. Did I handle it right or the best? Probably not. Did I deserve his posts to me? No.
So, in me speaking as honestly as I can muster, I like the idea of some kind of decompression chamber for new MGTOW’s coming in off the battlefield that are trying to escape the “hell” they have been in.

This is a good point, I was thinking more about the men that still have to digest the truth(and probably wish that they have an unicorn beside them, this need a good analysis of the whole relationship tho), rather than the ones who did it and realize that they are in a dangerous spot. I do not want to put the finger in the wound, we all did mistakes in the past, some did giant mistakes some did minor ones. And mind that we are at risk anyway, because it could take a moment of weakness AND a good actress to go back to the plantation.

Oh yeah. Piggy Paul and his: “MGTOW can get married,” crap is entirely full of shit. I think he also tried to say: “Women can be MGTOW,” at one point too. Fuck him. Same as that other fuck who was saying men who have never married can never be MGTOW. He was full of shit too.
Married MGTOW are men who learned from their mistakes and are trying to escape them. Never married MGTOW are the smart ones who learn from the mistakes of others instead of making their own mistakes. Neither kind of MGHOW will make the mistake of getting married ever again.

Young guys need mentors, not drill sergeants, that is really all I am saying. The door should be opened with a handshake, not a punch in the mouth.
Guys like Keymaster, Stealthy, Jan, Hitman, are great Ambassadors, even MGTOWER, as blunt as he can be, is also a great Ambassador, as he is blunt in the right manner. More like “I got your back kid”, rather than “fuck you” kid.
