How's our boy Andreas Pereira doing? (self.reddevils)

From the YouTube videos he seems to be doing pretty well, but I guess anyone can be made to look that way. How's he really doing, and what do you think the future has in store for him?

I saw most of the game yesterday against Barcelona, he was defending for most of the game and had a few attacks but nothing of note. He got subbed off at the 60th minute.

That's noteworthy since he struggled to defend, as a winger, under LVG. Mourinho expects every position to be able to defend too.

Plus he's become part of a squad that has the worst defence in la liga. However they've turned it round and are defending very well now in recent games, that's a big plus! He will learn a lot about being disciplined, Jose likes a man like that as you say.

By all accounts he is very impressive and is one of the stand out performers. Unfortunately it's very much a counter attack team so he doesn't get much chance to show his attaching game often though.
