My problem is that I always want the same thing. I know my SO likes variety, so I would rather him pick. Otherwise we will have tacos every single day.

A taco truck on every corner.

I have the opposite problem, my SO has simple tastes and I like everything, so I know 90% of the stuff I'd suggest he'd shoot down. It's easier just let him pick. We end up alternating between pizza, sandwiches/burgers, and teriyaki.

He won't even eat tacos because he doesn't like vegetables, beans, sour cream, guacamole, or corn tortillas.

People that don't like guacamole don't deserve to have a say in any matter. (Just kidding... sort of)

I've loved guacamole since I was a child, and I have friends that are just now coming around to it. I was always the only one that liked it, and never understood why they wouldn't just give it a try.

And vegetables in general. If I could afford it, I would probably straight up be a vegetarian. (Not that I don't love meat)

I understand not liking them as a child, but when you just straight up won't eat vegetable, it's probably because you've only ever had them steamed or boiled. There are so many different ways to cook them.

I have a similar problem. I always know what I want, but my husband doesn't share most of my tastes so I give him the chance to pick first. He always says "oh anything is fine" and then complains when I pick greasy cheeseburgers again.

My ex was so bad about not wanting any variety. If we were home, it was pork chops, green beans, mashed potatoes 70% of the time, burritos/tacos 10% of the time, and the other 20% was reserved for her giant Italian family feasts. And if we went out to eat 80% of the time it was chicken fingers.

She cooked and ate well, just wasn't really into changing it up.

Personally, I'll eat and try to cook just about anything. I love learning about new cuisine, trying all kinds of crazy foods, etc.

Since we've broken up, she's dating a chef, it looks like he's broadened her horizons, thank god.

I eat any where I love food of any kind, but I married a vegan.

So him getting pissed when I don't pick a place is twice as annoying.

My problem is I want to go to ALL THE PLACES. Seriously, I want B Dubs, Cane's, Taco Bell, Q'Doba, Texas Roadhouse, Red Robin, I want to go to them all...So you decide...you...because I can live with your choice, but if I choose wrong it's MY fault! D:

I have the same problem! It's literally just cause everything sounds good. In my book, it makes it easier for partners cause they know I'll be happy wherever we go!

I don't envy your inbox if this hits the front page.

I think you are.

To me it seems that when a girl is extremely hungry she just really needs food and is less rational in her thinking. Like a Jekyll and Hyde thing.

Quite possibly yes.

Don't assume that it's always just women that are indecisive about their meal choices. People of all genders can have indecisions of food choices. There's so many options these days.

Not just you. My wife is a very decisive person, and I don't think I have ever experienced this issue with her.

[–]Eupolemos 0ポイント1ポイント  (0子コメント)

Hmm, you may be. But maybe not. What do you think?

[–]SmoothOperator89 0ポイント1ポイント  (0子コメント)

So... Where can I take you to dinner?

I'll ask my man what he's in the mood for, then I'll give him four restaurants to choose from, and vice versa. I love this system, we always wind up getting what we both want. Win win!!

Visiting my sister. We spent over an hour in the car today because she would not settle for any of the suggestions her boyfriend and I offered, and when we finally decided on Thai she "almost walked out without ordering because she didn't like the tone of the woman at the counter". What fucking world do we live in?

[–]partanimal 0ポイント1ポイント  (0子コメント)

I just want to be able to share plates with my husband.

No, but most men with female SOs love hyperbole.

A girl that is decisive is not a girl, but rather a woman.
