Do you guys think this game can pull the biggest turnaround ever with the patch? Like adding full multiplayer, space battles, factions, variety of weapons and NPCs, a storyline and ending. That would be mind-blowing

I don't think it'd be possible in one patch, but if HG actually wants to commit to the game and keep updating it, I think they could gradually make it better. Keep in mind this would require them to DO something.

We don't know what HG plans for NMS but bungie had a pretty clear road map of the next few years of Destiny as an incentive. And while communication was a little shaky at first they came out and explained what happened with Destiny's story rewrite and release.
