Anyone else read this as implying PKK or whatever it is? SE turkey? Not trying to pick sides, but since when have the Kurds targeted US or foreign tourists. Istanbul and Beirut --- my parents used to go there on vacation. For Beirut, they were very young - it was early 1960s. But Istanbul - there were there maybe 7 yrs ago. They're not gong back any time soon.

This issue is even larger than Istanbul. Families/children have been sent back to the states from Incirlik AFB and the other bases in Turkey as well. This comes in the heels of Putin ordering every single Russian citizen in western countries back to Russia several months ago.
Something is up. I served for years and have never even heard of anything like this before. Did you guys realize that America is currently in Defcom 3 at moment (went into effect 15 October)? This has only happened twice in American history.
If you are not aware what Defcom 3 means in military terms the basic rundown is it is the authorization for "nuclear readiness" for the nation. In essence the nation is at this high alert status in preparation for a potential nuclear attack. Again, this has only happened two other times. That fact on top of both Russia and America sending/demanding citizens back home makes this issue quite concerning.
Something is definitely up and I am most certainly not a conspiracy theorist and have years of military experience under my belt. I have never seen nor even heard of something like this before. So I fully believe something is definitely up behind the curtain.

The Turkish people pose no threat to the West, their economy is supported heavily by our tourism. Foreign fighters (Clinton Funded) are the problem. The dogs have broken their chains and are out of control. The State dept doesn't want some paper pusher's wife and kids to get gunned down with US funded small arms.

    It's time for cautious hope, at least on my part. Numbers are looking solid, Clinton is getting absolutely reamed by this email scandal, and early Florida voting shows Trump with a lead, and Florida is generally a good litmus test.
    Just saw a poll as well that discussed vote changes with the new email revelations: Trump was leading Hillary by about 3% in the "always planned on Trump/still voting Hillary" axis, but fucking 23% said that the email scandal has changed their vote to Trump from Clinton. And it was at a fairly significant number of votes.

    Literally everyone I have ever talked to, even out here in Cuckifornia, has fallen into one of four camps on this. I'm actually using the info I'm collecting to do an amateur statistical analysis for my own edification.
    1) She's not Trump. If there's one thing that the Clinton machine is absolutely, objectively fantastic at other than bringing in a ton of money, it's rigging views and politics. They have very successfully managed to paint Trump as a lunatic misogynistic pig, with video releases and innuendo being their best, most effective methods. I'll be totally honest: as a person, I'm not entirely fond of him, from what little I know about him personally. But I'm not voting for Donald Trump the man, I'm voting for Donald Trump the President. These are the predominant class.
    2) She has a vagina and therefore represents me as a woman. This one is self-explanatory: it's single-issue or uninformed voters that are either actual morons, or have HEAVILY drunk the Clinton Kool-Aid. I am a man, so I can't pretend to understand or even support this viewpoint, but given that we could have possibly elected Amy Winehouse based on that same logic, I have to say it's flimsy at best. Further to that, most that I have talked to that hold this view seem to be either deliberately uninformed ("I hate politics and there's nothing you can say to change my mind, I like it simple and Drump is a meanie"), or they're swimming in the genetic equivalent of the piss-ridden kiddie pool. These are the second-most common.
    3) Trump isn't a woman and hates women. Need no elaboration.
    4) Actual aware voters that can make a respectable argument as to their pro-Hillary stance. I have actually encountered a few of these: out of a running 43-person sample, 5 of those are able to articulate actual policy positions of hers that they agree with, as well as express that they don't want Trump for (what I consider to be) valid reasons, chief among them being complete lack of political experience to date. To be totally honest, I respected each of these people by the time I was done talking to them: they were informed and sticking to their guns.
    An interesting thing to note, though, is that a mere 9 of these people ACTUALLY LIKE HER as a candidate. Even the people voting for her because of gender predisposition has some pretty bad things to say about her as far as her demeanor and attitude go, one of them even calling her a raving cunt while still supporting her.
    So basically, they are out there, but at this point Hillary's campaign is reflected with her voters: fuck actual issues, just as long as it's not Trump and therefore me we're good. All of this being said...I've personally seen at least 20x the Trump swag over what I've seen for Hillary, and have heard a lot more people bagging on her than actually voting for her.

    well to be fair, we sold those planes to the incumbent government in Iran. the rebels who overthrew the government should be less outraged about us not honoring it with the new regime, and be glad they weren't delivered in time so they'd have had to fight against them.

    In the hands of an unconventional army, yeah. But Turkey vs. the United States would be like Operation Desert Storm. Over in a few months, with relatively few losses. Occupying the country would be the hard part.

    2- Turkish Army has a long tradition of NOT destroying any weaponry, but storing it away. My uncle saw some 19th century rifles in the depots.
    3- Turkish population is easily mobilized. Erdoğan facetimed the entire nation and they were charging tanks with shovels on the coup night (I was in the capital at that night).
    4- Turks are not Arabs.
    There is no government that can effectively occupy heartland Anatolia or Istanbul without the conflict turning out to be at least a Phyrric victory full of war crimes.

    The connections we found earlier are older and systemic but apparently are still operating. Its all about money, the influence of the disapora of a target nation-donor axis. The new order use first generation or second generation Americans as the go-to guys between the country in question and the Feds/Clinton/Bush/Obama Billionaire cartel.
    For example: Amercians of Indian descent, Punjab mostly, embed into the DNC/Government (they are hopelessly intertwined). They facilitate the bargain for exchange between the indian business interests that want something, e.g. H1B visas, the globalist business entity in the US that wants cheap labor, and the state power needed in the US to manipulate law or regulation to make this happen.
    Essentially, visa programs are auctioned in a global market, with buyers competing to buy "blocks". Once a party shows the money available, a diaspora-American or two is brought in to facilitate matters. Regulation is changed, or things are omitted, or something lapses to the benefit of the buyer as their visa blocks are released and become available to the buyer's eager workforce back in...India.
    H1B visa folk show up to pre-arranged US business. Americans train their replacements. They get fired.
    DNC gets $$$ Indian business gets $$$ from the H1N visa recipients and %age from US based business US-based globalist pigs save much$$$$$$$

Regulation is changed, or things are omitted, or something lapses to the benefit of the buyer as their visa blocks are released and become available to the buyer's eager workforce back in...India.
      H1B visa folk show up to pre-arranged US business. Americans train their replacements. They get fired.
