I know you've come in peace but your post doesn't seem so.

Our season isn't going the same way as yours last season. We are not title holdes which you were.

Our players give it all and it shows in the match. Your last season looked like the players had given up and didn't want to play.

He hasn't blamed the refs yet.

The players youre talking about are injured.

Turn it around? It's only been 10 games and despite results we've looked pretty promising in terms of performances on the pitch. There have been some big positives to take away from the last few results despite growing pains.

I'm sure most United fans like me are fully backing Mourinho to succeed. I'm not going to judge this early on as I think it's far too early. I'm also not convinced we're going to be top 4 this season but I hope Mourinho's job won't be at risk because of it.

The media talk recently about Mourinho potentially "found out" is ridiculous. Mourinho is one of the best in the world with a track record that speaks for itself. If he can't get it right then nobody can quite frankly and I really hope we're super patient with him.

A portion of fans (myself included) were quite hesitant about his appointment and the board felt this too hence why he wasn't considered a successor to SAF despite wanting the job.

Many board members despised Mou's behaviour in the past despite his success but it seems we have abandoned morals to an extent in desperation of not wanting to slip away into has-beens (Liverpool territory).

But now that he's here I think that portion of fans are very much 100% backing him with everyone else.

Maybe turn around was a bad way of phrasing it. But I still see alot of similarities from our last season as I said. Which I was wondering if it was worrying for you guys or If you think it will go on forwards positive.

I think there were a lot of factors behind that Chelsea season that set it apart from our first few months.

The players seem to lose faith in Mou a bit and Mourinho released grip on team discipline following their title win. Plus he was frequently out of the country with a close family member having health problems that kept Mou away from his job. Plus the physio drama.

I'm sure you know a fair bit more than I do about that whole situation but the point is I think that season was a result of factors mostly unique to that situation.

4 wins in 10 PL games isn't a good start, no secret about it. But I don't think it's worrying yet. Perhaps it'll seem that way because of people's perceptions on this season. Despite it being his first season and us having a large overhaul many fans on here tipped us for the title.

There was a poll here at the start of the season. 55% tipped us for 1st which is downright ridiculous in hindsight (I was one of the 13 votes for 4th). Compared to expectations it's an atrocious start but I think there's plenty of time to turn it around. Despite our SAF hangover being in it's 4th season we still don't seem to appreciate that having a overhaul of players again straight after LVG changed the whole squad himself sets us back to square one.

I'm looking forward positively, but I think I'm looking more than a season ahead.

Thanks for the great response. Yes ofc, Mourinho did not have all the responsibility of last year. But he did not help the matter during the season. Don't get me wrong, I respect the man to death for what he has done for the club. But he could have solved a lot of situations differently. But as an example, I know how you guys (and everyone else) really love Costa /s . He has been a totally different player under Conte, and have not been that much of a idiot as before. Players seems to be more aggressive under Mourinho. Which might be worrying.

I'm looking forward meeting you again on old Trafford, and may the best team win :)

Today was the first time I was absolutely baffled. The lack of quality on our. Each was shocking and his inability to really change his tactics is beyond explanation. If he plays this same sort of shape against Swansea I am going to lose it. We need a quicker side out there. We should be out pacing clubs. We had loads of possession and shots today but Zlatan slows down the attack. We need a player who can use his pace up front both to regain possession from the opponents defence and someone who takes on defenders when he as the ball. I also want him to try to start a match with the pace and power of a Rashford-Martial partnership up front. I'd rather have tewo forwards and sacrifice a midfielder.

Baffled? Did you not watch the game today? Is it his fault we can't finish off chances, regardless of who is on the pitch? What a cunt you are, an ignorant one at that.
