Mkhitaryan and Cuadrado (self.reddevils)

Does the situation with Mkhitaryan remind anyone else of how Mourinho dealt with Cuadrado at Chelsea? He signed Cuadrado mid-season, continually said that he needed time to adapt to the Premier League, and barely played him before loaning him away in the Summer.

This may be me being pessimistic, but I remember those few months after Cuadrado was signed and this situation with Mkhitaryan reminds me so much of it.

Yeah he did, which makes me worry a bit more for Mkhitaryan to be honest.

Mourinho's constant insistance on playing workhorses (Fellaini, Lingard, Willian at Chelsea) over players with great technical ability will hurt us a lot over the season and may end up costing us top 4. I fear for Martial as well in this team.

I said this before the City game, but if I am not mistaken then Jose wasn't in charge of signings at Chelsea so perhaps he never wanted Cuadradl
