She's still a heavy favorite but yes, it's important to get out and vote, especially in swing states.

I don't know if 6% is "seriously down in the betting markets".

It's a pretty big swing at this late date. It's bigger for him than for her. But there's time for it to swing back.

If there's something to learn from past history in this election, it's that every time a Clinton scandal surfaces, in less than 24 hours Trump will say something so ridiculously insane and offensive that will tank his poll numbers and distract the voters from whatever scandal she is involved.

We're going to win. Volunteer and donate.

I think it's going to be ok. I've been having a really shitty day too but I don't see many minds being changed because of this and a lot of people have already voted in the states that matter. I don't know what will happen, of course, but I really don't think this will have the drastic effect that the media keeps pushing.

She's gonna be fine.

Take a deep breathe. This email thing, if anything, will backfire and get Comey fired. It's already dead in the water. The election is out of your control now. Convince your family and friends to vote Hillary if you want to put some of the energy to good use.

Well any ticket Tim Kaine has been on has never lost so with any luck that Golden Horseshoe up his ass will pull through again for us :)

First you need to calm down. This is what Mango Mussolini wants. He wants Clinton supporters to be demoralized. What happened today was the fault of the FBI director improperly making a vague statement that will hopefully be cleared up by the weekend. Again, the emails are unrelated to Hillary's case in the summer.

She is still favored to win. The only unknown is by "how much" will she win. But don't be scared, don't be demoralized. Get your friends, families, co-workers out to the polls and VOTE.

Kate McKinnon as Clinton: "This is nothing. I'm made of steel. Let's move on. Hi girls~"

It's a Friday though. How many people pay attention to the news during the weekend?

It'll affect the polls I'm sure. Nothing you can do about that. The question is by how much. I think she'll still be the winner but I don't think the senate will be in play anymore.

Of course there's always the possibility for Trump to win no doubt.

It is over, yes. Hillary Clinton is very likely going to become president. This election has been very strange, and all of that has been fed by how much people are interested and taking in articles at a high rate. And freaking out is exactly what news websites would love for you to do- freak out and click, click, click. The election had grown stale for some time now and they were hungry for some kind of bombshell. So the news really pounces. News have been feasted on the fact that both Trump and Clinton supporters are very disturbed by the other's candidate becoming president. CNN has a big red bar at the top of their page at all times with headlines like "BREAKING NEWS: DONALD TRUMP/HILLARY CLINTON ADDRESSES SUPPORTERS IN OHIO." Really? A presidential candidate is addressing supporters and that's a huge story? The fact is, most people have already made up their minds and three emails on Anthony Weiner's phone aren't going to change that. The people paying the most attention to these articles are the ones who are firmly in one of these candidates' corners already! There aren't too many undecided voters left- just folks jumping ship from the Libertarian or Green Party ticket. And they're doing that pretty evenly between Trump and Clinton. Look, the Princeton Election Consortium has Hillary's win at 97%. They don't get as much notice as project 538 because they don't have a sexy website or podcasts. Their site looks like a statistician's site, not necessarily a news site like project 538. I love Nate Silver, but even he admitted on his podcast today that he wakes up in the middle of the night to check polls. I think he's a little caught up in it, too. NBC has a video "how devestating will this be for Clinton?" Let's be real here, NBC is pretty much to the left what FOx is to the right. They know the answer is "meh, probably not much at all, but we sure as hell got a few million Clinton supporters to click the link." Maybe that's what can reunite this country when Clinton is President? No matter what candidate you support, we all got clickbaited to hell and back this election.

If it were a popular election, that might be an issue because people do stupid things in popular elections (coughBrexitcough) but it's an electoral vote. This is why we have the electoral college because the Founders knew that people were stupid and stupidity should be spread out. This will not cause enough people in enough major swing states to throw it to trump. Instead of winning by 5-7, she'll win by 3-5. If someone was undecided during the first several times the Clinton emails made the news cycles, i doubt this is going to really sway them. Trump people would have voted for him regardless, this is just going to make them unbearable for the next few days until, like clockwork, he says something incredibly stupid and hurts himself.

MAKE SURE YOUR FRIENDS VOTE!
