Question about keeping California Trump-free (self.EnoughTrumpSpam)

So I just got my California ballot, and I've been having this debate with myself over it. As a rational human, I absolutely despise the talking cheeto, and for the longest time was certain I was voting Clinton. She was not my first choice, but with sanders out she was the next best. However, I am registered green party, as they are closest to my values, and I want to support Progressivism in the US. My question is, would it be a good idea to vote for Jill stein to support the green party as there is really no chance in hell that trump would win CA?

I had high hopes for Jill Stein some months ago, but I've been continuously let down by her pandering to anti-vaccers/trumpers, not to mention the way she publicly rails against the pharma/tobacco/bank industries... while still having significant investments in them. I would personally vote for Hillary, both because a bigger win for her sends a clearer message to Trump & his loonies, and because Stein has ended up being kind of a hypocritical disappointment.

That's my perspective, anyway. Regardless of who you choose, good on you for exploring your options before making a decision.

Look into Jill Stein's multimillion dollar investments in big tobacco, big pharma, and fossil fuel industries and ask yourself if she is any better than Hillary?

Ask yourself how you would vote if you believed your vote actually mattered.

Then go vote that way because, guess what? It does matter.

Protest votes are not a good idea. Your vote may not sway the electoral college, but your vote will be added to the national total. As for Jill Stein, she's a total kook.
