KNBOR is an eco-friendly, healthy and affordable, all-in-one solution for any home. It is a smart ceiling lamp that integrates Wi-Fi producing with smart lighting functions.
As a smart ceiling lamp, KNBOR’s versatile brightness control will meet an entire range of lighting needs, and additional KNBOR features can help to transform any space at your will.
And it features a powerful signal convertor that is seamlessly integrated into the main board. The Power Line Communication (PLC) technology in use beats all current offerings, as it provides zero loss, faster transmission speed, lower radiation, and low power consumption.
More than just an eco-friendly, wi-fi-producing LED light, KNBOR’s integrated facts listed below can help to cut your bills to a minimum:
• Tracks the external environment and provides only the amount of lighting you need at the time.
• Using PLC technology, the power line transports both current and network signal, which further reduces network cable costs meanwhile simplifies cable layout.
The main body is built with high-quality aluminum, powder coated with a 0.8 micron layer that provides an incredibly wear-resistant surface. This coating technique is the same used for smart phones and other high quality electronics. KNBOR is designed to last up to 50,000 hours or the equivalent of 13 years.

For instances when you can’t or don’t want to use your phone, we made a switch capable of memorizing your brightness choosing. The light gradually increases at the first press from 0% to 100%; press the switch at the desired brightness and KNBOR will remember the brightness level for your next use.

KNBOR allows you to customize a wake-up alarm with gradually increasing, glowing lights that mimic the sun, providing a more comfortable and ideal way to match your physiological function.
c) IFTTT (If This, Then That)

KNBOR chose LED Panels given its excellent performances and features in flick-free, even light distribution, high CRI (>90), which provides the best natural color display, and UGR<19, which provides a comfortable, non-glare lighting environment.

• Installation
It only takes three easy steps to install your KNBOR. No pros needed. Uninstall your current lamp, fix the KNBOR magnetic base to your ceiling, and move the KNBOR lamp closer to the base. It will go into place automatically. (Steps: 1. Mounting of roof plate 2. Connecting wires 3. Hanging and finish the installation)
• App
You can download the KNBOR app from the Apple store or Google Play for free (or we will release it in XX months). Launch the app on your smartphone or tablet, and connect it to your existing KNBOR hotspot under the network option setting. Done! You are ready to go!

Glossary
802.11ac：It is the latest Wi-Fi standard that provides Gigabit Wireless speeds for the first time. It is also referred to as fifth-generation (5G) Wi-Fi. It’s about 4x faster than the currently prevalent 802.11n standard. It is still 100% backwards compatible with older 11a/b/g/n devices. So all your existing Wi-Fi enabled devices will still work with KNBOR.
CRI (Color Rendering Index)：is a quantitative measure of the ability of a light source to reveal the colors of various objects faithfully in comparison with an ideal or natural light source. CRI is generally scaled from 0 to 100, with 100 representing the reference light emitted by a blackbody radiator, and with differences in CRI values of less than five points not being significant. A CRI of 70+ is required for a good work environment, while 90+ is suggested for professional image editing.
Risks and challenges
We have been working for around one year on KNBOR and developed the key parts with a team of dedicated experts. We will continue to refine our hardware and technology on an ongoing basis and deliver the product 100% as promised. However, there may be some challenges:
• Software Development
The firmware and app are developed, but we will improve them better before we ship KNBOR to backers. Software development can be tricky at times and take longer than expected. We have extensive experience in software development and are certain that we can develop all the features that are necessary to make KNBOR an amazing lamp.
• Certifications
As required, we need to comply with CE, FCC and other certification requirements to sell KNBOR in Europe, North America and other selected countries. This process can potentially require more time than expected considering its complexity. However, with experts on our team, we will do our best to meet the timeline.

Easy! All in need is an Ethernet port in the house, a KNBOR server plug, and KNBOR lamps. Plug the KNBOR server in, then the installed KNBOR lamps will transform the Ethernet signal into Wi-Fi signal.
