Look. The October surprise that has dropped is really bad. Like, REALLY bad. Let's not try to downplay this. We're not Hillary's PR team. This is serious stuff. Even if you try to reason there's not much there logically, we have to understand that this is going to do massive damage to the campaign. Most people do not trust Hillary already, and this is the cherry on top. Any credibility she had as been destroyed by this.

I genuinely fear for my country. We just had Brexit. We've already played into Putin's hands once. I couldn't be more dejected right now. Right-wing facism is spreading like the cancer it is. The most I can hope is that this motivates people to vote, seeing Trump as a real threat again. I don't much feel like being invaded.

But hey, I've got £20 on Trump now. So at least I could spend that on something nice before the flesh is seared from my bones.
