Former Miss Utah, Trump accuser holding press conference in Salt Lake City
(KUTV) A former Miss Utah winner will hold a press conference Friday to address Donald Trump's threat to sue women who accuse him of sexual misconduct.
Temple Taggart, who won Miss Utah in 1997, accused the Republican presidential nominee of kissing her without her consent in an interview with The New York Times. She said she wasn't the only beauty pageant contestant he kissed.
"He kissed me directly on the lips. I thought, 'Oh my God, gross.' He was married to Marla Maples at the time," she told The Times. "I think there were a few other girls that he kissed on the mouth. I was like 'Wow, that’s inappropriate.' ”
Trump denied those claims.
Taggart and her attorney, Gloria Allred, announced in a press release they would "stand up to Donald Trump's threat" for the first time at the Little America Hotel in Salt Lake City.
