Tell you what, can't wait till this stupid election is over in America. I can't be bothered listening to it anymore. Both them as bad as each other. Feels like Trump would put his foot in it and cause a war and Hilary would go to war. Can see Hilary winning tho cause she is the lesser evil, but would be pretty funny to watch from afar if Trump got it.

I would argue shes the greater of two evils. Of course Trump is a loud mouth clown and has bizarre views and policies, but he is also very open about most things.

And on the other hand Hillary has lied over and over and has done some very sketchy things. She just comes across extremely untrustworthy and dangerous.

As fucked up as Clinton is, I'd bet we'd be more fucked up with Trump with his hands on the buttons from a world security perspective.

The organised chaos in the middle east doesn't need a guy coming in threatening to nuke their families and children, it's really not going to make us any safer. Nor is erecting a wall and asking the other country to pay for it a good way to make everyone think America is great.

Basically we're fucked either way, but I believe we'll be slightly less fucked with Clinton unfortunately.

Finished the second season of Peaky Blinders yesterday, fucking brilliant. Starting and ending the episodes with Arctic Monkeys, as if I needed any more reasons to love that show.

Exciting week for tech with the Microsoft and Apple events, although I have several questions about their latest products.

FF XV event yesterday...other than a PS4 overheating, fantastic. 29th of November can't come soon enough.

What makes you say that about apple? Saw the MacBook Pro part but it couldn't be less enthusiastic and forced than if someone acted it out without training though.

The touch part is cool I suppose but everything else is just a normal upgrade with new versions as usual.

I've always been an apple user but the new iphone is the one that finally broke me. It's just shit really. I'm not massively interested in technology, so stuff like getting rid of the earphone jack will impact me far more than all of the tiny software/hardware updates. It doesn't even look any different, to me it just felt like an iPhone 6 without the earphone jack.

Jumped over to Samsung about 3 weeks ago and now I feel like I've been missing out for years haha.

I've been looking for a new exciting job in a location closer to my girlfriend for the past couple months so that we can live together. We've been doing long distance for 3 years now and it's just mega-shit.

I found a decent job going in Liverpool, and while it's not exactly in my field, it's close enough that my experience and skills match up. Going to apply over the weekend and get it sent - is a bit of a step up so not going to be surprised if I don't get it, but worth a punt right? Wish me luck!

Currently in my last year of uni and starting to apply for grad jobs, fuck me it's stressful and time consuming. Anyone got any tips for the tests they make you sit post screening? Particularly the one where you have to identify the relationship in a sequence and pick the next item that would come?

Honestly those tests are really just about seeing how you approach certain situations and how your logical thinking works. The best thing you can do for them is to go in relaxed and just answer them naturally, the way you would any other day of the week. If you're stressed or overthinking things then you won't answer the way you normally would, you might start second guessing yourself or thinking more about what they want me to say. That just defeats the whole purpose of the test.

Just remember you're not being tested on your knowledge or something you should have studied for. You can't really mess it up, it's just about seeing how you approach things and getting a rough idea about your personality and to give a very rough indication as to whether or not you'd fit in well with the team. So just relax and keep calm about it :)
