Carrick-Herrera-Pogba midfield trio is possibly the best we could put up (self.reddevils)

Mourinho, i think has finally stumbled on to his best midfield set up, which ofcourse we fans were calling for. This mid field trio is very well balanced. Has composure via carrick, bite via herrera and flamboyance via Pogba. We would not be exposed on a counter attack as well. Now we just need to find an able and young replacement for carrick. That would set us for the next couple of years. Now we just need to fit in Mata, Ibra, Rash, Martial and Mkhi in the front 3. Not to forget Jesse. Tough call. Thoughts?

Don't know if anyone gives a fuck but this is why I think this would be our best midfield:

Midfield: 

                            Carrick

                 Herrera               Pogba

  • Carrick, I think in the future Blind may be able to replace him but we need his experience and ability to run the game, he's good enough defensively. Not the youngest anymore but knows by experience where to be on the pitch and is able to make himself a very useful player even when we're not in possession.

  • Pogba is able to offer strength and has the ability to make something happen out of nowhere. Needs to get better at the box-to-box role but definitely has the talent to be one of the best in that position. He's also been good defensively which suprised me.

  • Herrera just offers so much intensity and also has the creativity to be a good playmaker in midfield. Never stops running and always stays with his man which offers some defensive cover.
