Two unidentified individuals attacked the St. Petersburg business center that supposedly houses a notorious Internet ''troll factory" with Molotov cocktails. According to the local St. Petersburg news site Fontanka, the arson attack occurred in the early hours of Oct. 26.

A surveillance camera showed two masked individuals approach the building at 55 Savushkina Street and throw three Molotov cocktails at its second-floor windows. A fire then started in the offices of Nevsky News, which was located on the second floor. Nevsky News' administrator, who was still working at the time, managed to extinguish the fire.

The offices at 55 Savushkina Street are known for housing an office in which young people are paid to write comments in support of the Kremlin on a variety of social media platforms. Previously the operation was based in the Olgino neighborhood of St. Petersburg, which earned the Internet commentators the label "Olgino trolls."
