I was having an argument with a friend of mine earlier. He believes that Donald Trump is the "safer bet" for the next 4 years for America (mostly on grounds of respective relationships with Russia), and claimed the recent sex scandals involving him are mostly invented by the media. He told me that Bill Clinton should be under far more scrutiny for his involvement with Jerry Epstein, and that Trump's association with the man has been incredibly overplayed by the media.
This sounded fishy because I thought I had read somewhere that Bill Clinton never visited the island but flew on Epstein's plane a number of times, whereas Trump was a longtime close friend of Epstein's and had been to the island a number of times. However, I've been trying to find trustworthy sources for this information and I'm having a bit of trouble wading through the propaganda.
From what I can gather, there are no travel logs of Bill Clinton visiting Epstein's island, but a couple dozen of him on the plane, including one five-legged trip in Asia which did not include his Secret Service agents in the log. I'm having trouble drawing any legitimate connections between Trump and Epstein beyond a few vague quotes implying the two liked each other.
I figured if there's a good source out there for this stuff, someone in here would have it handy. Or perhaps someone could point me in the right direction?
