I support the FBI on this. People jump to the worst assumption, but if you were battling an entrenched president and establishment who could easily ruin your reputation with a complicit media, or just make you disappear, how would you fight to ensure you had the most impact?

I do believe that taking risk goes with the territory of FBI agent.
Break the member berries - But remember when Untouchables? When FBI went toe to toe, with major shoot outs with Gangsters? Infiltrating gangs, terrorist cells, drug dealers.....
Plus maybe if they get a tidal wave, there is safety in numbers. Either way they are sell outs, and I have ZERO respect for any one of them. This Country CANNOT move forward on any level ( social, economic, etc...) until this corruption is dealt with in a public fashion and people are held accountable. If not the rot will speed up and death spiral begins. THAT is worse then being killed. Go out a HERO rather then being a part of corrupt oligarchy!

I know we don't talk about you a whole lot. I know we don't praise you a whole lot. Our attention is always on the president, the president, and the president. I don't know if America got itself into this mess, or of those in power rigged the elections or what. I certainly can't blame everyone for buying into the promises of politicians.
The point is, if you're not there for us, who will be there for us? Our president is compromised. Our secretary of state: Compromised. Our potential next president: Compromised. Our political parties: Compromised. Our voting machines: Compromised. Maybe even our Department of Justice: Compromised.
What do we have then? A congress that barely functions? We've likened people such as Trey Gowdy as heroes, but he's up against an army. We need you, FBI, you're just about all we have left.
We don't know your circumstances. Maybe we're asking you to lose your job. Maybe we're asking for your security clearances to be permanently revoked. Maybe we're even asking you to die (I really hope not). But if you can't do anything officially, then please do as much as you can in any way you can.
Just remember all the stories you ever learned of our struggle for independence. We are the good guys of the story, but we didn't adhere to the rules of war. We fought desperately for our freedom. It wasn't pretty, and it wasn't easy, but sometimes that's what it takes.
We aren't asking you to be the government, we're asking for you to help us, the American people, to put the government in its place.
Personally speaking, the moment I saw Trump debating in the first Republican debate, I knew he'd get this far and I knew, at least in part, that he'd be facing these struggles. But what I saw in him I also saw in James Comey during his interviews with the FBI. What I saw in Trump while he always wished for politicians to step up and fix everything, I saw in Comey. "I would love to do it all for you but I can't." I don't know if that's really how it is, but I really hope that's how it is for at least some of you.
You aren't alone, FBI. If anything, you have us, the ones who have fought so hard for just a tiny fraction of the truth. I can't promise a bright future, but I can promise the hardest struggle that we can manage, and I think Trump is right there with us.

I'm under the impression that the leaks are coming from Comey himself. If we look back to Watergate, it was the FBI's Associate Director at the time, the Bureau's #2 man in charge, who was later identified as the informant once he passed away.

I know an agent. According to her, there is a very chilling environment at the FBI right now. And a lot of anger. They know anyone who speaks out is going to hang for it. With the election only a couple weeks away, I doubt any of them are going to risk it now.
It isn't merely cowardice. They know that any leaks will simply be suppressed by the media and the administration and they'll hang for no gain. Think about it: between WikiLeaks and Veritas, there is more than enough to destroy any normal candidate. That's what these FBI agents are seeing. So why risk it for probably no gain?
Any such leak would have to be backed by hard, hard evidence. Hillary's 33,000 emails or audio/video evidence of Comey's collusion with the administration to suppress the investigation on Clinton. With the way such things are heavily compartmented, 99.9% of agents simply don't have access to those things.
But you can bet once Trump is in office, they'll be singing to him like songbirds. And he'll have access to everything. So the key is to get him elected. Then we can toss Hillary into prison where she belongs.

They're under gag orders worse than NDAs that'll effectively have them violating confidential and classified information. Unfortunately for them they can't just intimate the attorney general and the FBI/DOJ into not pressing charges and giving criminal accessories immunity instead.

Once a weasel, always a weasel. The revolt talk was just that, talk. There are so many ways for an FBI agent to speak out publicly against Comey. Open letter to newspapers, twitter post with a picture of your badge with the details redacted...if there were any patriots left in the FBI, we would have heard more from them by now. They know the people they work for are corrupt. They know their organization's credibility is forever lost and still they sit there silently. Good FBI weasels.
