Why I'm tired of /r/battlefield_one (self.Gamingcirclejerk)

You'll get downvote bombed for calling them out on their racist bullshit. There's always one guy complaining about how Dice have gone too far putting BLACK PEOPLE in WW1 (despite their very real role in the conflict. Sure, a small one, but a real one nonetheless). Call him out on his thinly-veiled racism and you'll quickly get whittled down to -1, and with time -10 or -15. Like wtf. Also the cynicism as a whole. I always find the one guy going on about "DURR EVERYONE RUNNING AROUND WITH AUTOMATICS, WHERES MUH BOLT ACTIONS" Seeing as how my most common cause of death right beside "goddamn tanks" is usually "sniper", I'd say there's your precious bolt actions right there mister. /rant over

Its really sad that the game's biggest internet controversy is basically some of the soldiers are black. I love the fact that you can heal by standing still, use experimental sub machine guns and rifles that were barely in the war, can be lit on fire and survive, repair a tank thats on fire by using just a wrench, get magically brought back to life by getting a injection even after getting your head blown off. All of this is totally 100% acceptable and fine but black soldiers are not.

People are trying to defend the outrage by sputtering "muh immersion" "muh history" but this game isn't a 1 on 1 recreation of WW1 you want that go play Verdun. This is DICE's take on a video game version of WW1 if thats too triggering for some then don't play it I rather not play with a bunch of mouth breathers who are so outraged at black soldiers that they have to make racist jokes/memes or just flip out over it. DICE isn't even making them up they were in the war theres proof I don't understand how people can get so upset over such a trivial thing.

I'm not racist, but I hate darkies in my gaem, also there's a female lead in the campaign. This is totally unrealistic, we all know female's lack the upper body strength needed for holding any kind of firearms.

They're basically the archetypal /r/killthosewhodisagree circlejerk. Kinda makes me sick constantly getting lynched for suggesting that maybe there's something off about saying black people "break your immersion". They've called me "SJW" like 5 times now, like holy shit. Meanwhile, you have /r/infinitewarfare which has been extremely nice to me every time I post. They're very supportive and good-natured. Funny how the stereotypes about each game's communities seem completely false. Battlefield acting like a bunch of shitbags and CoD actually having civilized conversations with you. Then again I imagine considering all the hate they get they need to stay positive to get morale up. I'll keep playing BF1 though because I love the setting and the gameplay

Dodging the question. Cite your sources. Oh, and yeah they did. I've also read a few books. Can confirm there were soldiers of all nationalities fighting. Here in Canada we let black soldiers in, for example. Also good luck with this brigade bro, because unlike you, we here at /r/gamingcirclejerk are rational, normal people who don't believe in this "SJW" crap. We just call it "being a functional person"
