Same defense, but replace Smalling with Blind. We win more with blind. Since Baily is injured, then Smalling will do.

Pogba at RM, Herrera at CM, Mata at LM

We sort of already play that formation when we attack, but when defending it becomes a 4-5-1 with the two wide players dropping deeper to help out full backs

The transition to attack is not smooth. It is hard to tell, but Fellani is holding us back.

Well swap Mata and Pogba, and that could easily be our formation when attacking. I understand why Jose uses Fellani, it's for his height and power when he wants to play more defensive. I wouldn't be surprised to see this line up used when we come up against weaker sides that we want to attack and get at

If that is the case why not Carrick or Scherderlien for Fellani, because Fellani seems out of place as CDM.

I ain't sure why Morgan hasn't been given more chances, and I can only assume that Jose doesn't believe Carrick has the fitness anymore to put in a good shift against top opposition for 90 mins.

4-3-3 should be what we go into games with. The way he played 4-3-3 at RM for example is wht he should be doing with this team - we pace in wingers and we have a solid striker with people who can create behind.

IMO I want us to try 4-1-4-1 for quite a few reasons but mainly I don't think teams will be able to handle the transitions from defense to striker but we will have to see.

I would also like to see the 4-4-2. Dyche has some good points about using that formation and I think given the way he put it across on Saturday to Linaker, sounded interesting esp for us.

I think we kinda play 4-3-3
