I am bled dry. I make a measly 100k a year in socal. 47% of my earnings off the top goes to taxes before sales taxes. I cant afford to buy a house, I cant afford a new car, I cant afford to live a basic middle class lifestyle. Ki choose retirement savings and healthcare, Its all I can afford. Fuck parasites, fuck wasteful government spending and unjust taxes, and fuck rich assholes who are priveleged to pay less taxes due to our unjust imbalanced tax code. I dont give a fuck about any of them, I am in it for myself, that means no more hand outs to the poor, and no more rich people paying less taxes than the middle class, and fuck the federal reserve most of all for inflating asset bubbles and squashing ability to save.

Can you explain to me how 47,000 of your 100,000 goes towards taxes? At most your taxes should be at 25 percent. That leaves 75,000 which should be enough for a 20,000 dollar new car, no? And how can you not get a mortgage with an income like that?

Income tax+ Social security + medicare + California income tax comes right off the top of every paycheck. How can I not get a mortgage???? Look up the costs of homes in SoCal on zillow. I would be a damn fool to mortgage my life away for a piece of property here. I would be paying over 50% of gross towards a basic crap shack.

My issue is that I would immediately stop working and I expect many people would do so too. Why bother slaving away for a few more bucks?

Unless we have some huge force of robots ready to provide us with that productivity, such a system is bound to fail.
