I read this a lot of times after yesterday's result. There is a big difference between being 2nd with 6 points difference and 7th. If we were in second, we would only need (a minimum of) 2 better results than the team in 1st place.(we win the loose/draw or we draw the loose).

Now, we need a minimum of 11 better results.(assuming we win every game), to be even, and 14 to be clear on top. These are not a few games. Basically we need all of city, arsenal, liverpool, chelsea and tottenham to loose twice.

Our title race is way more difficult now than most people think. Statistically, looking at the title winners the last years, we can afford only 2-3 more slipups(loss or draw). Its doable, but difficult.
