Transform your window into a Crystal Clear Quality Sound Speaker. Muzo, turns almost everything into an acoustic environment with its own speed of sound.
This is risk with Kickstarter, I think I just lost 159$us for this project, when there is no update after 2 months from the team , I think it's over for my Muzo personal zone creator. They are not serious by not answering all are questions :/
Hello muzo-team,
After your last update I am quite concerned about the whole schedule regarding the battery and pcba issues.
Working as an PM in a company which produces high quality electrical beauty and shaving devices I know that issues with batteries or PCBA are always leading to extreme delays in the whole certification process and therefore also to a massive SOP delay.
I would like you to show a detailed project schedule with the upcoming milestones and the possible delays. Furthermore after seeing Samsung galaxy notes 7 exploding while charging, I would like some comments of you concerning the whole certification process.
If the stand alone components are "free tested" that still does not mean that the assembled product is also certified (e.g. EMI) and free to sell.
As this is not a 10$ kickstarter project, i think everyone would like to get more clarity for the next overdue update.
Regards
Al
Wow, its amazing how impatient everyone is. Just relax, if you are that anxious perhaps kickstarter is not your cup of tea. I would suggest Ikea instead...
I'm not the only one that is getting antsy, can you guys provide some updates on where we are at and what to expect? Expectations were set initially, need to reset them if things are slipping.
I have a quick question.
I have a neighbor upstairs that walks around the house ridiculously loud upstairs.
My room is a studio and the room upstairs are the exactly the same layout as my studio.
Is it possible for me to simply place my Muzo on the ceiling to reduce her stomping (low pitched bare feet and high pitched heel noise)?
I was originally going to use this on a window, but my new apartment brought up a new problem...
@Sergio Fracasso
Sorry for the late reply. We replied you in private message.
@Matthew @Florian Nast
Muzo is an acoustic device which combined noise masking and noise blocking technology. It can deal with sudden noise. The best place for Muzo is on the window in your case.
@wangqi
Our app will be available when we ship the first batch of Muzo. Thanks..
@scraptchatella
Thanks for your suggestion. We will try to have different languages in our manual.
Lets say, what if there is a thunderstorm outside the window and my mum is shouting at the same time on the other side. Will Muzo still be able to cancel the noices? If so, where is the best place for me to install Muzo?

We have issued you a refund. Please check.
@Danny Ng @AChang
To be fair, we cannot offer a refund after last Friday (Please find update #12 for more details). We must set a deadline to start post-campaign work to calculate how much we need to produce. We signed a finalized contract with the manufacturer for such amount of Muzo on last Friday. Hope you could understand. Thanks.
@Wayne Little
We sent you a private message for solution. Please check.
@Daniel Cassia
Your reward will be sent around Feb 2017. Please wait.
Will you consider a "stereo" mode for those who purchase two Muso's? It would be great to hook up in stereo somehow. Leve you to think about implementation details ....
Can this unit be used *inside* noisy places to reduce sound going out of the window? Eg when drums, tv, loud music, practicing public speaking, are used in the room and I don't want to bother the neighbors?
@Eric Cheung
We did receive a private message from that site. What they asked is frequently asked questions in comments and we answered this kind of questions many times to the public. We rectified their wrong concepts in our reply but they did not give us any response or further questions. After a few days later, some people told us they posted an article about a KS campaign but they do not state any product name or company’s name. If they are really talking about Muzo, we disappointed that they decide to state the allegation by just one reply from us.
@JI Rivera
Since putting Muzo over boxes is the feature of our stretch goal, we showed it for backers what is unlocking. We will post some updates for Muzo latest progress. Please come back regularly to see our efforts on manufacturing. We suggest the best-working surface area for Muzo is 1m x 1m. You can find our project timeline on our campaign main page. Muzo is able to deal with the vibration produced by a combination of noises. Multiple sources of noises will mix together and become a combination of noises when they enter into your room through the window. You can go to our company website for more information about our background. The duration of the battery is around 20hr after a fully charged. Thanks for you question.
@Sahey @John Ziubinski @chandu ramoju
Thank you so much! We will keep posting updates in order to give backers the latest information of Muzo. Please keep following us!
OMG! I'm just finishing reading the whole comments section and I can say it's disappointing... I do see a promising device on the making and yes I also believe that a 100 dlls device with such amazing features seems close to impossible, but, even Steve Jobs had a hard time to achieve the iPod... well, now you funded the project and I got mostly the same questions as many backers:
1- When are we going to see true life Demos of ALL the proposed SCENARIOS?(Putting the muzo over boxes seems to amplify the noise instead of reducing it :-( )
2- Do you have any scientific research in ENGLISH for us to read?
3- Which is the suggested room size for muzo to work?
4- Where is your project timeline?
5- How many noise sources will it be able to handle/reduce? Vibration is most likely the result of multiple sources interacting over the same surface
6- Can you guys tell us your background?
7- What about the battery life? 6hrs, 10hrs, 30min?
I do have some tech background in sound acoustics and sound dynamics, so, I truly believe this is possible!
Many thanks and I truly wish you the best on this!!
Congratulations on the overwhelming success with funding. The concept of this project is very promising and from all the information you've given, I am very hopeful for the finished product. Good luck.

Under secret mode, the main purpose is to protect speech privacy but not to block noise. That’s means others outside your room cannot listen to your speech clearly. Also, you can control Muzo by app so that you do not have to get up for a touch on Muzo. Thanks.
@Tony Nguyen
Let us explain to you in another way. When you stick Muzo on window and turn on serenity mode, the vibration sensor receives signals from glass. Then, Muzo calculates the signals with different frequency combinations. Then, the main output, exciter emits the signal processed to do anti-vibration.
We did explain to you the meaning of billionsound. The exciter you see in our video is one of the references for what they did. Hope you understand that.
As we mentioned before, the principle of Secret mode is simple. The speech information heard from people is inversely proportional to the level of background sound. If Muzo increase the level of ambient sound with specific frequency inside the room, the speech information would be decreased. As a result, it is harder for people outside to understand the conversation inside.
@Andy Taylor
You can see it from our rewards list, The retail price would be $249.
Use this space to cheer the creator along, ask questions, and talk to your fellow backers. Please remember to be respectful and considerate. Thanks!
