I'm seeing a lot of people shitting on our players for this performance, as they should, but a lot of it is attacking their work ethic and whether they care about the club or not. Christ there's a thread shitting on Zlatan because he smiled when shaking someone's hand after the game. And he was dropping deep the entire game trying to influence things so shows how much they know.

Firstly, these guys definitely care. You think it's bad as a fan, but I'm pretty sure it's so much worse for them when we lose. They're the ones receiving the criticism. They're the ones that have to live with it.

Do you guys seriously think they don't want to win the league? That they only care about the money? Is that why they spent an ungodly amount of hours every day practicing football? Come the fuck on.

And people will point to our performance today as a counterpoint. Where's the evidence? We were outplayed, end of story. Running a lot isn't a barometer of whether a player cares or not. Tevez fucking ran a lot, and we know how much he cares about the club. There's tons of other factors to account for our poor performance. Pogba dallied on the ball? No shit, the movement around him was poor, what the fuck can he do, pull an elastico from his ass and score from 50 yards? If Zlatan cared more would he have hit his header a bit lower? He scores that and it's a different game. We were let down by shit finishing, and we need to work on that.

Our defence was shocking, obviously. Players have bad games. It happens.

And I feel like I should point out the obvious, that we played 3 days ago, without much rotation. Our defence was unchanged. Want to know why it looks like they don't give a shit? Fatigue. 2 days to recover isn't a lot of time at that level, especially without rotation.

Also, Chelsea had the whole week to rest and focus on our game. We had to prepare for both them and Fenerbache. I'm not making excuses, but a little perspective here, because it's obviously needed.

Tldr; calm the fuck down. No need to make ultimatums and say that our club is fundamentally flawed and all that nonsense, because everyone was chipper a week ago. We're barely 3 months into Jose's reign. So have some fucking patience.
