and Mata.

Was the only one who looked close to tears walking off the pitch. The rest were smiling and swapping jerseys.

I swaer it seemed mata was gonna kill someone. never seen him this angry.

As soon as they have a bad game this sub will turn on them. It happens with Rojo. It happened last season with mata. I've seen it with valencia and young. Lingard usually leaves it all out on the field also, but the moment they have a bad game it's pitchfork time. Passion has been a problem for a few years now, but it's also very clear that we have much larger issues.

Recently this sub was all up on how Mata doesn't bring much to the team except for happy blogs and he isn't good enough - he should be sold, to, OMG BRING MATA ON PLEASE! DID YOU SEE HOW SAD HE WAS AFTER HE LOST? MATA HAS PASSION FOR US!
It's a good thing no one on these comment sections work for the club in any capacity.

When it comes to controversial players like Mata, it's usually different parts of the sub having different views. Not the same people flipping views after every game.

Besides Ibra smiling at the end, does anyone else come to mind?

Nope. Conte even said Pogba wanted to come back here the other day. This is just pure reaction from the Zlatan picture.

Lol Im not talking about that Zlatan pic or the end of the match handshakes etc, I am talking about our team play. Zlatan/pogba were just walking around.

They really weren't though

Martial cuddling up to Kante.

Ah come on they're teammates in France. Do you guys remember how much shit we gave Spurs last year when they got wrecked by Newcastle and were being absolute sore losers?

[–]MullerReusIt's hard to believe it's not Scholes! 2

It's just people going nuts after a loss, we'll win a few then nobody will care what happens after a match, this place is like a fucking stroke victim after a match, the way I see it, we lost, we don't need to be told that the team will try harder and all that shit after, we should expect it and there is no point wanking with tears for the next 4 days at the least.

Yeah but look at what Spurs are doing this season, being sore losers is a byproduct of a winning mentality. Giggs, Keane, Scholes are self confessed sore losers, they would be seething about it until they had a chance to put it right the next game. No matter what players might say or tweet about being hurt & angry their body language tells a lot more.

So sick of the lack of passion from players

We have 4 players on 200k a week or more, we have the biggest wage bill in the prem and top 3 in the world.

I also heard Pogba was getting paid £290k a week the other day lmao.

Whoever does our negotiations is incompetent, I've been saying this for 2 years now. Tottenham have such a good model on how to pay players, we should learn from their example in that respect. Eriksen was on 30k a week recently, whilst we have trash on 100k a week...

Also if players don't want to come here because we don't pay top ££££ then fuck them. We need players who will bleed for the shirt, it's how Fergie got success for many years.

Yes we paid RVP £200k a week, but we really really wanted to be here and showed passion every week.

Schweinstieger get's paid the same amount of money as Suarez for doing fuck all. Rooney is the highest paid player in Prem history and isn't even a top 10 player in England anymore. Memphis and Young are on a combined £200k a week. Seriously how the fuck can any of you defend this bullshit?

Shutup and get out of here with that shit. Revisionism at its finest, fool.

Explain how it's revisionism then?, instead of dropping one sentence you imbecile.

What do you think Roy Keane or Nemenja Vidic would be doing right now then? If this result happened 10 years ago.

I don't think you understand how negotiations work. Are you really trying to compare how much you should pay Eriksen vs. how much Schweinsteiger should get? Or even Pogba?
Today's market is different, you can go and sign all the players who bleed for your shirt and end up like Liverpool and to a lesser extent Arsenal and win jack shit vs. the teams who will spend to buy the top talent and compete for the ultimate glory.
Pogba hasn't had a good start but the issue is larger than him, he's also the player that could waltz into Madrid and Barca easily. If we didn't pay the big bucks for him, Zidane would've signed him. Is that how good negotiations work?
We paid RvP 200k/wk because of his accomplishments, talent and because I presume were his demands. Very same case I'll make for Schweinsteiger.

end up like Liverpool and to a lesser extent Arsenal and win jack shit

Both these teams a million miles better than us. Wdf are you on about?

Today's market is different

Keep hearing this shite and not it isn't. The market is the same, it's just the money has increased. Yet we don't need nor should we pay guys like Memphis Depay 100k a week.

Pogba hasn't had a good start but the issue is larger than him, he's also the player that could waltz into Madrid and Barca easily.

Based on his performance today and so far for us, he couldn't waltz into Bolton Wanders let alone Real Madrid and Barcelona.

It's probably too late to change from being the Real Madrid of England, for better or worse. We'd have to sell the whole squad basically if we wanted to make those changes in wage strategy. As much as I hate to say it we have to find a way to win with the players we have now unless we want to wait another 3 or 4 years to be relevant because we're rebuilding again. None of the front office staff seem to agree with the Tottenham strategy, also.

Tottenham have such a good model on how to pay players, we should learn from their example in that respect.

And they never win anything. So GTFO with that daft logic.

They are challenging for the league title, something we have not done in 4 years. They are a better team than us and play better quality football.

But yeah let's keep buying trash for inflated prices and pay then 150k to do fuck all. That will surely win us the big trophies.....

What trash has United bought that you're alluding to? When is the last time Tottenham has won something? They're also not a better team than us, are you kidding? The brand of football they play is down to Pochettino's philosophy and managerial style that gets the best out of his players individually and as a team. The same thing is going for Klopp at Liverpool and Conte at Chelsea. If, as a manager, you cannot unite your team and have them play to their strengths then you won't win silverware.
Do you think Leicester won the league because they had the best team? Gtfo of here. We have a manager who's bad at man management, he's inconsistent at getting the best out of his players.

Are you feeling alright?

Your post just made my head hurt, it makes absolutely zero sense dude.

We are doing shite because our squad is simply not good enough, we have too many passengers than need binning, it's really that simply. Mourinho knows what to do, and if we give him a year he will get it right.

We actually won a trophy last season. Something Spurs have not done for 8 years. I'm sure that better brand of football will pay off for them eventually.

Spurs are closer to winning the premier league title than us.

Even Arsenal fans are not satisfied with FA cups because these days it doesn't mean much. The premier league title or the champions league is the metric great teams are based on, not the FA cup.

Also Liverpool haven't won a trophy in 5 years, they are much better than us right now too and look more likely to win the league.

My point is we have spent HALF A BILLION!!!! Since 2013 and look absolute shite.

What exactly is your point?

I'll take Champions League over FA Cup anyday of the week

I'd pay United to let me wear the jersey on the pitch. 31 now so I've passed my prime but I swear I'd give my all, fucking hell of a lot more passion than was displayed on the pitch today anyway

This is the kind of passion we need lads. Reminds me of the time the Philadelphia eagles had open try outs and one regular Joe actually made the team and showed up the professional players with his passion and commitment.

As soon as I heard Philly, all I could think of is always sunny. Do you have bird like qualities, gay tendencies, killer ambitions or an addiction to cheese? I will also accept fascination with revolvers.

Agreed though, there's something horrifically wrong with our club and it's killing me getting hyped up for every game and seeing pure ambivalence on the pitch

It's time to take some big decisions and bench some of our big name players. Zlatan tops the list as he has drastically faded since his goal scoring rout in the first few games. It's time to use either Martial or Rashford in that position.

Also, players like Depay deserve some playing time and I'm confident he would do better than many players we saw today on the pitch. Pogba too need re-assessment of his position and where he should play. From today's performance, it's proved that he's not the one to track back like Herrera does. Either Carrick or Blind should play in that position with Pogba playing further up.

Today, Mourinho found a bunch of problems that reside in the team. Hopefully, he would fix each of them in the upcoming games.

You're deluded if you think the flop Depay deserved playing time. You're confident he would've done better than most of the players? Based on what? A nutmeg vs Midgetland and a brace vs Club Brugge?

It's finding the right dynamic. Zlatan is a poacher - he needs service. Once we get him that ball in the box, we'll score. If we have Pogba as a 10 - he needs time to adjust. I'm a strong advocate for playing Carrick deep (Schweini should have been there because having that leadership and experience is unparallel, fuck you Mou). Herrera beside Carrick as box-to-box and give Pogba free reign higher up. Pogba took a while at Juve last year to get accustomed to #10 but when he did, they dominated.

People on this sub should have a look at themselves first... Reactionary beyond all belief.

[–]Flick_My_Bean_Geoff 0ポイント1ポイント  (2子コメント)

Piss off. You all love blind in this sub yet he was the start of it.

Lmao I literally made another thread about Blind that he shouldn't start for us. See my comments history and have a look what I have said about Blind every time.

[–]Flick_My_Bean_Geoff 0ポイント1ポイント  (0子コメント)

People were crying out for bastian yet he's a merc. He'd rather sit on his arse than play somewhere for less money.

Serious question for Rooney haters, how has Ibra been miles ahead of him last 5-6 games? First games he could score few games but he has been utter shit like a month now.
