But I digress, because who cares? As long as we do stupid handshakes, dab at any opportunity, give our players countless PR commitments to make stupid adverts, hire body doubles for a new signing, a few posts about how we will ‘learn’ from defeats, it’s all good in my book.

There’s a fundamental problem with the club, the ethic to win is gone and now its just a cash cow. A bunch of over paid primadonnas who at the age of twenty have more than any of us will ever have, combined, but who cares about a pay structure to give players what they deserve. They look like they can’t be arsed because they aren’t arsed. At the end of the day, they’re getting that fat paycheck at the end of the week and we’re here getting upset over 11 men we don’t know.

We need to figure out a system ASAP. Playing the 4-2-3-1 doesn't work with the players we have. The players themselves don't even know what to do. It seems like the strategy is to cross as much as possible. The midfield is absolutely shit.

Anyone who've followed Zlatan's career knows he's a player that looks inactive only to suddenly switch up gears when he gets involved.

I see people wondering why the fuck he doesn't look involved and doesn't make that one header chance he got this game (like the one against Liverpool). Instead, ask yourself why the fuck he's put in a position where he's hardly ever involved and where in a game, he gets more or less just one decent scoring chance.

Sad truth is that uniteds midfield does not link up in any meaningful way with either the defense or the offense. All build up is a joke. Zlatan is just as known for his insane assists, but he's never put in a position where anyone takes a run or links up. It's as if everyone expects that as soon as he gets the ball, he's supposed to miraculously finish by himself.

Did you see what happened when Fellaini went out and Mata came in? For 5 min or so, it was the best attacking football that united have had all game. Why? Cause Mata links up in ways Fellaini could only dream of.

It's been just a couple of months since Van Gaal left and the team has already forgotten every good thing that came out of that era - how to press coherently, how to hold the ball, how defenders should coordinate. With Van Gaal, players looked bad and uncreative while attacking, now they look like a fucking rag tag bunch of mannequins - both while attacking and defending. I hope to God this is just an off day, and not a sign of how things are going to be.

Against 3 centre backs we played 1 striker… Attack wise we have one option - play it into Ibra’s feet. We have no width -which is where we needed to focus against a 352 personally, into the channels between the wingback and centre backs or between the central and outer centre backs. When our attacking width constitutes Valencia/Lingard/Blind/Rashford for the most part of the game, what do you expect. Rashford is the only decent wide attacking player there and he was out of position on the left as a right footer which is immediately less of a threat.

Thats not even to mention the defending.

I imagine our plan was to defend the entire game and park the bus but obviously that went out of the window immediately...

Say what you want about Van Gaal at least we had tactics. You knew what a LVG team was gonna play like. We maintained good possession and were solid at the back. I have no idea what Mourinho is trying to do. He still doesn't know what system he wants to play or what his best team is. Our defence has gotten worse. We don't keep the ball. There's hardly any movement off the ball. Zlatan is static up front. We always pass to Valencia and hope that Zlatan can get on the end of it.

Whatever feud mourinho has with Heno, Shaw, and Schneiderlin needs to be settled immediately. We need fresh faces in the team, hungry players.

Rushford needs to be reverted back to a super sub role with martial and heno starting. Zlatan and Pogba should be dropped. One is useless in attack, the other is losing the ball at too high of a rate.

Season is long, but we need Jose to be more ruthless and show the lads that anyone can be dropped.

Wish we had more players like Valencia and Herrera who give a shit. The energy to fight doesn't really seem to be there, those two (plus Rooney of course) aside.

On another note, Pogba was atrocious IMO and Smalling was goddamn awful. I think we need to change the midfield up since that's where the majority of our problems stem from. Pogba (or the Pogba-Fellaini pairing) has been a huge problem there and now that Rooney isn't playing it's easy to see.

I don't want to take away from Chelsea's performance (which was very good) but all four of their goals were terrible mental errors from our players. Smalling was terrible for the first (De Gea and Blind were poor too), second (a number of players should really do better with the first goal) and fourth goals (Pogba was also poor just letting Kante run past him) and Mata just lets Hazard run off him for the third.

The more annoying thing for me was the fact that we offered little to nothing against a Chelsea defence which is prone to mistakes and who we had a distinct height and physicality advantage over.

There really is nothing positive to take out of this match, not a single player showed up and Mourinho's tactics left a lot to be desired, total shit.

Safe to say whatever confidence we got from the last match is gone now and worse, it seems we're simply a flattrack bully this season.

I read in the match threads and some other people keep saying thing like we need to buy quality here and there, no we seriously don't. We already have one of the most if not the most expensive squad in the league, look at Leiceister last season or Liverpool this season who can do far more with far less. Sure, maybe a few couple more player if we want to challenge the like of Barca or aiming for a trebe, but our current squad is far more than sufficient to be competitive.

We don't need are more good players, we have them, they just have to show up. Throwing money at it won't solve anything because it's not the problem.

This was such a shit performance. I feel like Mou made a mistake by playing blind. He just couldn't keep up with pedro and got outpaced by most of Chelsea's players. It also seemed like chelsea were deliberately attacking our left side on the breaks, which just made it worse. Should have started shaw instead.

And where the fuck is Mkhi? Might as well pull a Swansea and shake up the first team. Its evident that what were doing right now isn't working, and that we need to mix things up before we get figured out and are screwed by a team like Sunderland
