Why do people constantly shit on multiplayer games like call of duty ,battlefront,battlefield about the lack on content while overwatch is circle jerked everywhere. I love over watch but why does it not get hate for its lack of content?

Because of the "the only exceptions to my arbitrary rules are games I like" mentality. I.e. "I hate Battlefront for things Overwatch does but I like Overwatch and the people who make it so then it's fine. I also don't have to explain why OW is better because I like it so it just is. Battlefront is OBJECTIVELY worse because I don't like it." I also love OW, but the double standards are pretty annoying.

For me, it's the fact that you have to pay for the season pass for the other games while all new maps and characters are free for OW. Just a one-and-done deal. Although I still play CoD regularly (couldn't get into BF though)

Because tits I guess In all seriousness though Overwatch is mostly well loved for being very original and having this "what can I do for my team" mentality rather than "CHECK MY K/D RATIO BRUH" so content really doesn't matter when every match plays out differently But yeah you have a point
