We have been playing in a 4-2-3-1 system all the way back to good old SAF times, and it got me wondering, is there any obligations from the management above Mourinho to play like this?
Imo, the system of 4-2-3-1 doesn't fit our players first of all, and it's also becoming a more and more outdated system, as we see time and time again whenever we face opposition with other formations and systems that are effective against it. The only teams we've been on par against are teams playing the same system, which is becoming less and less usual for every day that goes by, and again shown by Chelsea today, rocking a 3-4-3. Why aren't we experimenting with the system instead of just the team lineup, when we have such unstable form?
