I do understand the inconvenience you have with Playmemories Home, please add a screen capture of the issue that you encounter so we can isolate the issue and find a solution. Thank you.

Happening to me too.  All you have to do is try sharing your pictures to facebook.  When Facebook tries to authorize the application, the screen grays out and gives the above mentioned error.  I'm on version 3.1.01.03120.

Please try the following steps if you are having issues with uploading to Facebook using PlayMemories Home (PMH):

  1. Make sure the computer being used is connected to the Internet and can access the Facebook website.
  2. Make sure the computer is not set up using a proxy setting for the network.

IMPORTANT: The proxy must be disabled for the upload feature to work.

    1. Open an Internet Explorer window.
    2. On the menu bar, click Tools.
    3. In the Tools drop-down menu, click Internet Options.
    4. In the Internet Options window, click the Connections tab.
    5. On the Connections tab, click the LAN settings button.
    6. The in LAN Settings window, click to remove the check from the box next to Use a proxy server for your LAN.

NOTE: For further assistance or questions about the proxy setting, contact your computer administrator or Internet Service Provider (ISP).

Those steps to do not work - we have the same issue. You should be able to reproduce.

Unable to reproduce the issue, it is working fine with PMH version 3.1.01. If you have tried the network settings above and it did not resolve the issue we can only ask you to test your device on another network and see how it reacts or please call 800-222-7669 for further troubleshooting.

Sony,

Why you guys always mess around with software. It was working nicely then comes an update a ****** everything. This is why I whish that either Apple or Sumsung dominate the market and eat all these amateurs.

Fix the software man. I spent $2500 on a camera and want a good software to operate it. IT IS YOUR BUSINESS.

I'm having the same problem, and the fix did nothing.  What else can I try to fix this problem?  Can I go back to the older version of the software?
