There are plenty of decent people who have been unable to find sex and romance. Y'all go after a small minority of truly insane, warped, damaged incels and publicize their folly, often cherry-picking the worst of the worst. While I find their beliefs abhorrent, it stigmatizes the decent, awkward, romantically-unsuccessful male by lumping him in with these highly vocal clowns. It's such low hanging fruit that you guys seem to be potato digging.

Oh, am I supposed to ignore things like "dildoes should be outlawed and females forced to have sex with incels," "let's blind females at birth," and "Elliot Rodger did nothing wrong" because it hurts your feelings? 👎

Decent people who are unlucky in love don't generally tend to call themselves "involuntarily celibate" and hateblame an entire gender for their lack of success.

If a guy doesn't associate himself with inceldom or self-describe as an incel, then I don't see how he's stigmatized by it?

Denise Donelly invented the term as a descriptor. It was then hijacked by first-rate clowns and assholes. I dislike the term myself due to its pollution by these fools, and because "lack of sex" isn't our biggest problem.

That's true of a lot of things. There's a reason people tend not to use the phrase "retarded" to describe developmental disabilities anymore. A reason that non-racists don't tend to talk about celebrating their white heritage. Pro-choice people don't talk about being pro-life, even though we're fans of life as a concept. Language is impacted by who uses that language and whether it's used in a positive or negative way.

Because I, personally, might be considered an "incel" although I loathe the term. It assigns some kind of immorality to men who are unlucky in love for whatever reason and therefore die alone.

You're making something about you that's not about you.

I don't mean to be harsh or rude. If you're not identifying as incel and not participating in spewing gutter sludge about women, then none of this is directed at you; we're even pretty specific about what we're mocking instead of just saying things like "haha look at these edgebeard lonelyhearts, what losers". Heck, we're even usually happy to effortpost if someone comes genuinely asking for advice.
