Why can't these people just come to terms with the fact that Trump isn't going to live up to their fantastical expectations of him and that he is solely to blame for losing this election?

I have come to terms with the fact that Paul Ryan is a coward and represents nothing more than controlled opposition to Democrats. He represents a liberal district in Wisconsin so he is safe from being unseated. He's not a fighter, he's not a conservative and he doesn't put the party or the American people first. Right now there are thousands of WikiLeaks and two videos which exposes the DNC, the Clintons and the media for their corruption which directly impacts the country and the Republican party. And yet what is Paul "the toothless" Ryan focusing his energy on?

On the other hand, Ryan warned, “If we lose the Senate, do you know who becomes chair of the Senate Budget Committee? A guy named Bernie Sanders. You ever heard of him?”

Ryan’s comment drew a tepid response from the Young Republicans he was lecturing. No surprise there. Polling suggests that Bernie Sanders is among the most well-regarded political figures in the country, especially among younger voters, and the long-time independent generates far less partisan antipathy than veteran Democrats.

Paul Ryan riles up Sanders supporters. The only fucking Democratic candidate on Hillary's campaign that young voters give a shit about. And with WikiLeaks revalation about the Democratic primary being stacked against Sanders and the Clinton team laughing behind his back this is how Paul Ryan chooses to talk about Sanders?

Been saying this ever since he said that. A great tactical move by Ryan.

He doesn't care. He has spent his entire political career in congress with well over 50% of the vote. That's why he has such a large surplus of campaign money. He essentially runs unopposed. His goal right now is to maintain the illusion that he wants to fight for Republican issues. But they are the same talking points and political points that Republicans have used for decades. They never take the fight to Democrats and always depend on safe dependable votes. That is until a Democrat wins the presidency, then they play lip service to groups like the Tea Party and con them into thinking they will fight for them after they win. Nope, they abandon them.

Is this one of those.. If you're not on the trump train..then its all your fault when he loses?..........yup..its breitbart.

It's bigger than that. The article outlines Ryan's attempts to undermine Trump and downplay Clinton. Like I said before, Ryan tries to play both sides and spends most of his efforts on shaming Trump and ignoring the flood of leaks that clearly outline Clinton's agenda. He is hedging his bets on a Clinton victory so he can go back to being toothless opposition to Democrats without Trump stealing the spotlight.

Trumpbart is a dumpster fire.

And yet like most Clinton supporters you won't take the time to actually look at the evidence.

"Evidence."

Go back to Infowars.

Keep correcting the record. This is where you lose out. Because the record is clear. Paul Ryan undermines Trump every chance he gets. He doesn't have the fight in him because he is essentially conrolled opposition. Go ahead, show me where Ryan has stood up and hit Clinton hard in this election. He has thousands of emails and two videos which prove that Hillary is corrupt. And all he has to do is turn on CNN to see how they are hiding facts from the public. You are just a low level Clinton supporter, so all you can do is ignore acts and try to derail discussions and downplay those facts.

“A senior State Department official’s attempt to pressure the FBI to hide the extent of this mishandling bears all the signs of a cover-up,” House Speaker Paul D. Ryan said in a statement after the FBI released its third batch of investigative files. “This is why our aggressive oversight work in the House is so important, and it will continue.”

Don't just get all your news from Breitbart. Maybe its possible Breitbart is spending so much time attacking Republicans that they don't want a Republican House or a Republican presidency. Or maybe they are just a sensationalist website whose only goal is to create controversy and therefore webtraffic.

This is the first Breitbart article I have read in months. I visit Breitbart perhaps once every few months and catch headlines while browsing reddit. And in this article it outlines all of the ways in which Paul Ryan undermines Trump , downplays scandals and refuses to fight for the Republican party and Trump. He has already admitted he is done supporting Trump. Everything he says is calculated, and the quote above is just red meat for Republicans since it's directly related to FBI FOI request. It was reported by even CNN so of course Ryan had to cmemt on it.

Ryan is a paid-off establishment arsehole. For the good of the country, he needs to be replaced as speaker regardless of who wins the presidency.

Ryan is as establishment as they come. He'd rather a crooked Democrat win than have a non establishment Republican. He know Trumps going to try for term limits. He also knows Trump wont take his crap and just roll over on things. The reason they are turning from Trump, is that he scares the hell out of them. They dont want an outsider. You think these establishment Repubs and Dems arent all friends? They work together for power and money, and Trump is going to put an end to that. So, really, it makes sense that Ryan would want Hillary to win.

EDIT: This is no longer a Right vs. Left election. It has turned into an Establishment vs. Non-establishment.

"A recent report by The Atlantic spotlighted how Ryan, to this day, continues to oppose Trump on a wide range of issues from entitlements to infrastructure, to trade, to foreign alliances, to immigration, and to crime."

How can Paul Ryan even call himself a Republican when he doesn't want double the infrastructure stimulus package than even Clinton proposed. And he even wants to slow the growth of entitlement spending to make Social Security and Medicare solvent in 15 years? Dear god that man is a RINO. Next you're going to tell me he wants to tell me he takes his stance on free trade from people like Reagan instead of Bernie Sanders.

I support Donald Trump as a lesser of two evils. But I get the sense Breitbart would rather have Nancy Pelosi as house speaker than a Republican.

1) There is a rumor that Paul Ryan's top advisor leaked Trump's sex talk tape. src

2) Paul Ryan doubled down and refused to campaign or defend Trump for the remainder of the election. src

Yep, blame the Republicans that don't ignore all of Trump's fuckups for why Trump is fucking up. Classic Breitbart. This article is trash that does nothing to support its sensationalist headline other than to cherry pick quotes out of context. The people on this forum swallowing this garbage should be ashamed of themselves.

People here seem to forget how Ryan was installed banana republic style as speaker. Where where your voices then when you could have made a non establishment guy speaker with a couple phone calls?

Ryan didn't want the job and tried to resist, but he had no choice, the fix was in. They must have dirt on him.

Ryan, however, has openly declined to run, a decision many analysts attribute to having much larger ambitions, including a possible run at the White House.  http://nhpr.org/post/house-speaker-search-republicans-look-paul-ryan
