System Center Data Protection Manager 2012 Service Pack 1 introduced Windows Azure Backup Agent to allow organizations to backup data and store at Windows Azure Public cloud. In case you need to enable logging for Windows Azure Backup Agent, create/modify the below registry entries:
- Registry Key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows Azure Backup
- Registry Entry: TraceLogLevel
- Registry Type: REG_DWORD
- Registry Value: 0x12 (18 decimal)
- Registry Entry: CBEngineTraceLogMaxNumber
- Registry Type: REG_DWORD
- Registry Value: Maximum number of log files retained.
After creating\modifying above registry entries, you must restart Obengine service. You can restart Obengine service by issuing the following commands:
- Net stop obengine && Net Start Obengine
Logs are located under "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Azure Recovery Services Agent\Temp"
