"Identity politics, why hacks write articles not at all based in reality using clear double standards."

Trump calls Ted Cruz nasty 4 times? Just business.

Calls Clinton nasty? THIS IS AN ASSAULT ON POWERFUL WOMEN.

Trump calls Rand Paul ugly? No big deal.

Trump calls Carly ugly? THIS IS AN ASSAULT ON WOMEN.

Seriously, Trump is a moron, but shit like this is why people are starting to dislike "liberal media."

A lot of it is right wing propaganda making them lose credibility, but some of it is garbage fucking articles like this.

Just business and no big deal to who? The only people who thought his attacks on Cruz's wife were no big deal were Trump supporters. The rest of us were appalled.

I wasn't talking about his wife, he called Ted Cruz nasty multiple times.

You can see the same shit with those statues.

Naked Trump statues are art.

Naked Hillary statue is sexist and body shaming.

Clear double standards all over the place.

Let's not even get started on how this sub was spam calling Trump's wife a bimbo and all kinds of sexist shit for weeks.

I'm sure they did, yet I encountered no less than 10 people claiming the trump statues were art and the Hillary ones were sexist.

Oh, well, your anecdotal experience clearly is the most important thing, then

Anecdotal evidence is the only thing Trump supporters know. They refuse to actually get educated.

Hurr durr Trumpies amiright fellow adults?

Cut the BS. Anecdotal evidence is rife and has been throughout the election cycle - trying to paint it as a unique phenomenon to one side is weak and pompous.

Not to mention … nice anecdote :D

Dude, this answer made me laugh. :) you are actually concerned about some perceived double standard when it comes to naked statues? hahaha. Thanks for making me laugh

I'm not "concerned" about anything and it isn't "perceived."

If you want equality, it has to be full equality. That means the bad and the good, not just the good while the bad is declared sexist.

And this is the problem today, tumblr brand feminist equality is about bringing women up to the same level men are at (which they already are) without any of the negatives men have to deal with.

It's one sided women are more equal bullshit.

I think this has more to do with you than any perceived double standard. You don't sound too secure in your masculinity.

Unreal, I am "not secure in my masculinity" because I support equality, actual equality.

Amazing.

:) okay, well could have fooled me based on your posts.

I wasn't talking about his wife, he called Ted Cruz nasty multiple times.

And it was not a gendered insult when lobbed at Cruz. It's the "woman" part at the end that makes it gendered. Because obvious.

Oh fucking please, this is some shady mental gymnastics and you know it.

"woman" can be a descriptive term.

When he called her a "nasty woman" he was talking about her insulting him, the woman was just descriptive as it would be if he said "this man is an idiot."

Don't even try this shit dude. It's painfully see through.

You need to back away from this fight because you clearly have no idea what you are talking about. Your mental gymnastics are transparent af.

Argue with the logic in that comment, tell me what I said is factually incorrect.

You people can't even make real arguments, you know you're wrong and just stick to this bullshit.

[–]radiant_snowdrop [スコア非表示]  (17子コメント)

Umm, it's called context. There is a historical precedent about judging a woman's worth based on her appearance, not her intelligence or qualifications. Nasty woman also falls under that, given how it was said. I understand he got triggered by her but that specific phrase did nothing to refute her claims. He did it to be spiteful and with that in mind, it is an incredibly disgusting remark. It's one of many phrases older men decades ago would call women they dislike. She's nasty, she's got a bad attitude, she's undesirable, she's ugly, etc. None of those things have any baring on her capacity as a working professional, but to men like Trump they do.

And everyone is forgetting Hillary dropping to Trumps level with the "deplorable" nonsense

You can have chivalry or you can have equality. Trump's called guys nasty and mocked their appearance too, no one lost their shit then.

[–]Zyom [

I don't remember trump mocking any guys appearance during the primaries. Only the one female candidates( Fiorina) looks.

I think he called Paul Ryan ugly, but Paul Ryan was the best looking person on the stage so I don't think anyone took offence. I wouldn't vote for the man but he has beautiful cheek bones.

Rand Paul. And what does it matter if he attacked their looks? There's no magical shield against being insulted.

[–]Zyom [

I really don't think a presidential candidate should be insulting anyone's looks. Whether man or woman.

I refuse to kiss the ass of anyone with lots of money and power---man, woman, or stainless steel toaster.

Your stainless steel toaster has that much power over your life?

Maybe she's really into English muffins; I'm more interested in how the toaster amassed money.
