Journalist:
Jose, a good win has that given you – not problems – but ideas about maybe changing your line-up for Sunday? Because some players may have played their way into Sunday’s game with that performance?
Mourinho:
Independent matches. I chose this team because I felt it was the team to win it. And because I felt after such an intense game on Monday, some of the players would be in a better condition to perform than others. But I start thinking about Chelsea tomorrow. Am I happy with the performance? Yes. Am I happy with individual performances that I saw? Yes. And I’m happy with the result which is the most important thing because the group is difficult. We put ourselves in a difficult situation by losing the first match, so it was very important to win especially because the double match is with Fenerbahce and so to go to Istanbul without winning the match would be even more difficult. So, I am happy.
Journalist:
What would those goals and that performance do for Paul Pogba?
Mourinho:
Well, first of all, in some of your mouth, he goes from the worst player in the premier league to a great player in 48 hours. I’m not specifically saying it is you, when I say “you” I say media - especially the Einsteins. But the reality is that we know that he is a very good player, and we know that he needs some time to be - or to show all his potential. I know Italian football very well. I know how Italian teams play - completely different than the premier league. I’m not saying we are better than them, I’m just saying that we are different than them. Different in the intensity, different in the space to play, different in the number of touches you can give on the ball, different in the time you have to decide, everything is different. And he needs time to adapt. What can do today? I don’t think much, because he is a self-confident boy. He’s not the kind of boy who is depressed because some people were saying that he was a bad player. He was not depressed; he was just calm so I don’t think today makes a big difference but it’s always nice for a player to score – to score at home and specially to score such a beautiful goal like he did.
Journalist:
Jose, seven changes but still no Henrikh Mkhitaryan, what was the situation with that decision?
Mourinho:
The situation is that we played with Lingard, with Mata and Martial. I’m not an Einstein, I don’t know a tactical system to play with four wingers at the same time. And he has to work more to get the intensity and the real fitness to play at a high level. So, to have him here today on the bench and to give him 15 or 20 minutes like I give to Memphis - I think it would be much better to work the way he did yesterday, different than the ones that played today. Much harder, obviously. And much better for him to work today like he did in a specific session. So, wait for his chance, but he is ready very soon to play.

Also, when I do these i'm never sure whether I should clean up his grammar (obviously not change what he's saying but a lot of what he says doesn't really make sense and looks worse when written down). What should I do?
