Donald Trump recovered from a media onslaught over the last week with a strong debate showing in front of tens of millions of people who heard his words without the main stream media filter and spin. Just about the entire media is backing H. Clinton's campaign and openly siding against Trump with little regard for neutrality.
Tonight's debate was a last chance for Trump to speak before an audience that may have approached a hundred million people. In each area Trump was questioned on he had a firm answer and a clear command of what he wanted to say. When the moderator interrupted him Trump continued to make his point emphatically.
When pushed to respond to the organized avalanche of sexual charges played up by all the media Trump said the claims were debunked and that he didn't know most of the women who claimed he kissed or groped them. He dealt with the issue and moved on to other topics.
Trump avoided the verbal traps some of the question were and underlined his positions against 'open borders,' unrestricted immigration, the bringing of tens of thousands of un-vettable Syrian refugees who may be a 'Trojan Horse' bringing radical Islamic terrorism into the US. Trump reminded the audience and viewers that H. Clinton supported the NAFTA trade agreement that has wiped out millions of US blue collar jobs, and that H. Clinton called the TTP the 'gold standard' of the next round of trade deals. Trump pointed out that H. Clinton's emails released by WikiLeaks reveals that H. Clinton supports the TTP, but then claimed she was against it - and she will pass it if she gets elected. Any reasonable person watching has to know that is true.
H. Clinton said that Trump used steel made in China to build. Trump said, "You were writing the trade laws, why didn't you make it hard to do." When H. Clinton complained about Trump's taxes Trump countered that she had been in government for many years, why didn't she change the tax laws? Trump said because H. Clinton's friends and financial backers George Soros and Goldnam Sachs would have to pay higher taxes also, so she would simply talk which is what she always does. Trump said H. Clinton never really accomplishes anything.
H. Clinton bragged about her 'experience.' Trump said she had more experience in government, but that it was bad experience. Trump pointed to the wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Libya as countries that H. Clinton had help destroy at a cost of trillions to the US while Russia prudently advanced it's goals in the Middle East.
H. Clinton tried to deflect questions about the WikilLeaks release of a great number of emails from H. Clinton's campaign and private basement server by claiming that Russia was behind the leaks. H. Clinton claimed that Russia and Putin were actively backing Trump. She said he was a puppet.
"You're a puppet" Trump said into his microphone. Trump went on to say he did not know Putin and had little to do with Russia. He pointed out that the US government would be better off in Syria working with Russia and the Syrian government to defeat ISIS and the other Jihadists that the US backs. "We don't even know who these rebels are," Trump said.
The debate was a win for Trump in that he performed well and stayed on message and was sharp. H. Clinton didn't 'lose' the debate and she gave a good enough performance to keep the support she already has. H. Clinton has been anointed by Wall Street, the media, the Democratic Party establishment and just about all of the Republican establishment -- so she should win. Trump has the courage to point out that when just about 100% of the media is openly backing one candidate something is rigged in the system. Trump also said defiantly that he will wait to see how the election plays out to see if it is legitimate. H. Clinton was 'horrified.' Wait till she sees what her presidency will be like.
