Clinton's acceptance speech just lost her the election.
I'll explain.
Clinton made the biggest mistake she could have made throughout this entire election season. She copied Trump's talking points verbatim and tried to sell it as her own.
Game over.
One of the primary angles of attack media, pundits, and politicians alike have made against Trump was citing that his inflammatory rhetoric was rambunctious. They also attacked him on the notion that nothing he was saying was rooted in any facts, in any grounds of objectiveness. They said he was a man with no political experience, who didn't have any knowledge of what does happen in politics.
Yet Trump won the Republican nomination. He won against the GOP establishment and beyond. He won in landslides. His message has resounded with the Republicans. The GOP unified behind him.
The Trump platform scares the Democrats. The Trump platform is anathema to their existence as a party. So, why is Hillary Clinton copying Trump's talking points? Why is she deliberating about fixing infrastructure, standing up to China, creating more opportunities for Americans?
To re-negotiate our trade deals?
Taken out of context, who in your mind owns these talking points?
Trump.
When you think of putting America ahead in this world, who do you think of?
Trump.
By using Trump's platform as her platform, Hillary Clinton legitimizes Trump and everything he has pushed for. The Clinton campaign have proven to the world that Trump's talking points is what will win this election. Tonight's speech has proven that Americans want the Trump platform, that Americans want Trump.
Clinton has turned the 2016 election season into the Trump Referendum.
This election is not about policies, not about talking points nor is it about politics at all. This election is now all about Trump himself.
Do you want Trump in power or not? That is how you will cast your vote. Do you want the real Trump, or a feminine mockery of Trump? If both parties are going to enact similar policies, do you want a strong masculine leader to take charge or not?
This is the Trump Referendum. Which side will you vote?
