American Traditionalism and Folklore

One of the major components of the alt-right is its love and appreciation of European culture and history. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this and it should be promoted.
However, Europeans are not the only members of the Alt-Right. That's right, I'm not referring to people by their ethnicity, but instead their nationality.

You see, as an American I am a descendant of multiple ethnic backgrounds (all of them European I can assure you). This means, to me, that I cannot identify as strongly with one particular ethnicity like others can. I have some Magyar in me, but so what? I have some German in me, but again, so what? While it's true my ancestors at some point were around for Prussia, and the HRE, I cannot claim as strong a connection to these histories as others may.

But, there is something I can connect to, and that is the history of America.

Now, let me first tell you what I am not saying.

I am not saying we must forget our European ancestry.
I am not saying we must treat contemporary America as a treasure.
I am not saying we must ignore Mother Europa's plight against the Muslim invaders and Jewish interlopers.

In Europe we have Putin, we have Hitler, we have Mussolini, we have Alexander, we have Caesar, et al.

These are all great men for one reason or another. But, what they are not is American. Now of course, to some or even many of you reading this, that may be a good thing. This I will attribute to a cynical worldview we all have or had due to the current state of affairs in our glorious Amerikwa.

The country of America was founded by European men of English descent. They viewed America as the future of the world, they wanted America to be the future for the European man, one free from the constant power struggles of Europe, one free of political and religious intrigue.

This was a noble endeavor that unfortunately has gone awry. But, I'm not here to talk about the factors leading to today, or even today itself. I'm not even here to talk about problems America had or has. No, I'm here to talk about American Traditionalism and Folklore.

George Washington -- the only general in world history to lose the majority of his battles, and yet end the victor. The father of our country, and our very own Cincinnatus. Washington was not a man of significant ability, but he was a man of significant will to power, and that is why he must be revered.

Andrew Jackson -- handidly defeated the British at New Orleans, crushed the Federal Reserve and alleviated our debt for the only time in our country's history. Kicked the Natives out of our territory and gave us land in Florida.

James K. Polk -- went to war with Mexico over a border dispute, and along with one of America's finest generals - Winfield Scott - ravaged the Mexican army and gave them their second embarrassing defeat after their loss to Sam Houston (a Texan, but another figure we should celebrate). Polk's desire was for a larger America than what we currently have, but a foolish ambassador prevented this from happening.

Theodore Roosevelt -- promoted the protection and sanctuary status of our greatest national treasures, our wildlife. Yellowstone is a beauty beyond words, and his policies helped set forth a precedent we should continue. And let us not forget his dedication to anti-trust and anti-monopoly policies.

These men, and many, many, more are littered throughout American history. And yes, I consider Texan and Confederate history when I saw American history. So I hold Sam Houston, Robert E. Lee, and Winfield Scott all as the same nationality.

These men, dedicated to the preservation of America. For her Manifest Destiny, for her place of power. These are the men we should be promoting as heroes, as our fathers. These men also have the benefit of not being disgraced by the media and vilified by the public (although we are allowing such atrocities to occur against Andrew Jackson and our Confederate brothers).

I cannot forget that America too has folklore. Tales of our history to tell our children, to set examples for us. Johnny Appleseed, Paul Bunyan, Thomas Quick, et al.

We, as Americans, do not need to place all our faith in foreign leaders, yes, Europeans are foreigners to us. We must understand this. We must bring ourselves back to the titans we were. To the men who would rend the Earth to our desires. Who built buildings taller than ever thought possible. To the men who brought us flight, the men who brought us electricity, to the men who set foot upon a heavenly body.

Europe is our history to some degree, yes, but we must promote our own American history and culture just as much if not more so than we do Europe's.

To some of you (the more cynically inclined), this idea is abhorrent. To you, America is Amerikwa. To you, American values are drinking Starbucks while tweeting about microaggressions. To you, America is an education system bent on turning us into puppets that parrot what we are told without question.

Well, I am telling you, America is not that. America is a titan, a god, a sleeping beast that must be reawakened. We are a cultural and military powerhouse, and we use that to spread degeneracy and "democracy". We must promote the times of our past, when our leaders stayed free of foreign entanglements, when we enforced immigration quotas, when we conquered the lands and peoples that stood in our way, not let them flood our borders.

Outside of Europhiles, the majority of Americans do not identify with their European heritage. We must show them there is a way though American history. We were not always pozzed, we were not always Amerikwa.

Fight for your past. Fight for your people.

But, you must understand, your people are Americans.

One thing I want to touch upon is American involvement in the European conflict in WWII. Many within the Alt-Right will lament how the "good-guys lost" WWII. But, if you are American, I must implore you to forget these lamentations. Our guys won. With our hindsight we see what could have been, or rather, what has become.
But, our fathers, our grandfathers, our great-grandfathers, they did not shed their blood, or die in the name of LGBT rights. They did not kill in the name of BLM or so Ahmad can make his damned clock. No, they died to protect America, because to them, Germany was a threat to their nation. This is noble, this is right. I lament not that the good-guys lost, but that our families did not see them as allies instead of enemies.*

This concludes my appeal to promote the true American traditions. To promote our heroes and leaders. Our myths and our legends.

If America is to be a vehicle for the Great Satan, let it be the worst ride he's ever had.

Polk's Plan for America
