The Fate of America and Our Search for Survival

Sir John Glubb's essay on Empires is required reading for this article : Fate of Empires and Search for Survival

This is it

We are in the end times of America. At least the current form of America. We have the most divisive election season, the social fabric of American culture is immolating, we're on the hinge of world war 3, we could very well start a civil war. Just today, terrorists firebombed a GOP office to further incite violence and unrest. And let's not forget all the riots spurned on by black lives matter activists this past summer, in addition to the numerous terrorist attacks by ISIS affiliated members.

Anyone with a semblance of awareness for the unrest swarming the globe knows that something drastic is bound to happen. However, they may believe that its the end times, rapture is on its way, Ragnarök is going to occur, or whatever end times prophecies that exists. However, this isn't a special instance of the collapse of an empire. This is another notch to add to the gallery.

History repeats

1776 was the birth of America. Our founding fathers fought the imperial Brits to establish their sovereign homeland. In the year of 2016, we celebrated 240 years of America's history. As Sir John Glubb points out, the average lifespan of an empire is 250 years, or 10 generations. The Romanov dynasty of Russia lasted for 234 years before the Bolshevik revolution of 1917 overtook it. The Ottoman Empire lasted 250 years. The British empire of which "the sun never set on" only lasted 250 years. The Assyrians, Greeks, Romans? Their empires did not last any longer either.

For us to last 240 years is not short nor long; it is expected of the world's premier super power to only make it this far. The only speculation at this point is pinpointing the exact year that The United States of America ceases to exist. We can only witness history as it happens. Not even Trump should he win can salvage USA. Just as a man lives and dies, so too does nations rise and fall. Whether they fall by ceasing to exist or remain as a shadow of their former grandeur and power has no formulae. However, we can state with confidence that America will fall because of interior deterioration but will be triggered by outside forces, as all empires have. We cannot avoid this. We can only prepare.

As written by Sir John, we can catalogue our American story into stages. Let's examine our history and learn.

The Age of Pioneers

The rise of the empire begins when people, strong in their volk, begin their outburst and pioneering. We saw this with the original 13 colonies in the 1700s. Colonists set out to establish new frontiers for the glory of Britain, the dominant superpower of the times. They carved out lands and set to harvest and prosper on these strange lands. They did not see themselves as America. They saw themselves as faithful servants to the glory of the crown. It was not until emissaries such as Ben Franklin and others travelled back to England on work that they saw conflicts and strife of their work in America. Seen as second class citizens by London elites, the fledging colonists of the Americans started to grow and create conflict know as the revolutionary war. We won, and thus established our new fledging sovereignty.

We freed ourselves from service to the crown. What do we do? We start to expand and cement ourselves.

The Age of Conquest

With our volk strong and energized, we went westward. Driven by loyalty, patriotism, and love for the star spangled banner, we expanded. Manifest Destiny was our driving force. We incentivized ourselves to explore and annex new territories. We explored, conquered, and took ownership of the vast forests, the endless plains, the fierce rivers, the insurmountable mountains, the vast valleys, and more. We came, we saw, we conquered. We pushed all the way out to California, and then acquired Alaska from Russia. We now was coast to coast, sea to shining sea. We fought wars against the Mexicans, against the Indians who refused to take our gracious deals, and even survived a civil war to establish ourselves. We fought for our lands. We fought for our future. We fought for our American Volk. The numerous stories of our legends and folklore -- Davey Crockett, Paul Bunyan, the wild west, etc -- are a testament to our success as conquerors.

However, we did not keep expanding. We did not keep our volk strong by ensuring self-less duty and loyalty to America. We started our slow and silent fall. We started to decay.

The Age of Commerce

Well, we have all this land, all of this untapped resources and opportunities. What do we do with it?

It was obvious at the time: let's make money.

It was innocent, naive, seemingly harmless. With all the material and immaterial wealth we had, we started to rise as an economic superpower. Infrastructure started spreading throughout the country. Cities sprung up as dominant trade and commerce centers across the nation. Trains became the bedrock of the nation. Manufacturing, agriculture, and many other industries started taking hold in their respective regions. People grew wealthy, and America was surging into the world stage. No longer were we the people of vast frontiers.

We became primary trade partners with many affluent empires of the time. We became interested in the world beyond us. It was at this point that we started to decline as an empire. The first evil already seeped in and took hold at the heart of our volk. It poisoned our patriotism and our unwavering selfless duty to our volk.

It was the root of all evils. It was money. In this age, we started to adore money as we shifted our minds and thoughts from the volk to our personal wealth. Instead of working for the glory of the nation, we worked for our personal gain. The countless rags to riches novels was brainwashing. The American Dream was the false God. It was our death wish.

The Age of Affluence

Because of our economic growth into a superpower in the 1800s, we started to become a major player on the globe. Primarily to protect our ever expanding economic interests and players around the world, we partook in major events. We made moves with our militaries to protect critical areas of operations. we financed power struggles for personal gain. We subverted and influenced foreign governments and powers for our advantages. We parlayed relationships for alliances and common interests. America became feared by the current establishment. We became powerful. We became the top dog.

Within our nation, many changes started to take place. America was undergoing rapid cultural and political transitions. They were not spontaneous. They were simply the result of our failure to purify the rancor that resided in our volk.

The Age of Intellect

It it not surprising that it is at this stage that we made our biggest advances in the collective intellect as a nation. For it has been foretold by history. The late 1800s until 1965 was our "golden age". We created many wonders of technologies, literature, art, music, and more. We advanced our sciences to their heights. It did help that we had two world wars to accelerate our advances in numerous fields. The start of the cold war and thus the creation of the common enemy -- the commies -- also contributed to our collective research and developments.

However, it was at this time that we would head for the final age and thus our death. Women started to gain public positions and take on jobs and roles traditionally for men, something that was never done in America's rich history. We never learned from the death of many empires why this was a catastrophe. The nuclear family unit would start to disintegrate and decay. Social unrest would take their homes in the nooks and cracks of the dying volk. Sure, people had patriotism and love for the USA, but what was the USA at this point? Only a former hulk of the grand vision held by our founding fathers. We were still America but we failed to hail our ancestors and our forefathers. Our decades of decadence and lack of hardships made us weak.

It's time for us to die.

The Age of Decadence

We're in the final stage of the United States of America. If we wanted to pinpoint the exact started of this age, the obvious answer would be the signing of The Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965. From this point on, we accelerated in our degeneracy and decadence. We fell from a once powerful nation into a nation of charlatans, corruption, and demons. As the initial poison of money started our decay, many new evils ushered in to deliver their blows.

Materialism corrupted our piety. We became slaves to our animal desires, trying to acquire what we can at any cost. Instead of caring for our volk, we now only give fleeting thoughts to our bank accounts and drool over new cars and sneakers. Our frivolity is now common place. Caring about the death of our nation and culture? Hah! Let's instead devote our waking hours following the news about generic pop star A and B. Oh wait, new season of show ABC is coming out? Omg omg, we so have to watch it. Instead of having war generals and statesmen of old as our heroes, we now worship sport stars, entertainment stars, and other hedonistic cultural icons. Just as the Romans were placated by the games and the arena where their renowned gladiators fought, we now spectate football stars crush heads on the gridiron and consider it the grandest entertainment of our times.

Our population? Thanks to the immigration act of 1965, we now are "a nation of immigrants!". So tolerant! we grant unprecedented access to anybody who can reach our shores. People from all around the world now flock to enjoy the fruits that they never created. We were brainwashed to believe and preach that multiculturalism was a strength, that diversity is the ultimate truth. We now abuse our altruism for foreign invaders who laugh at us as they hoard our resources, our wealth, our sweat, and our blood. We became a welfare state. Hardworking taxpayers now have their taxes siphoned into a bloated and immoral system that hand out freebies to the undeserving for no reason other than warped ideologies. We were once a white nation. Now? the demographic shifts in 50 years transformed us into a self-feeding pit of depravity.

As Nietzsche once wrote, God is dead. The Protestant faith on which was the bedrock of American religion is once gone. Religion is now an afterthought for the majority of our population. The bible thumpers, what do they do? They recite their bible verses loudly yet their congregations shrink by the day. Invasive religions are now common place and our politicians pander to them in the name of tolerance. People don't share a common religion any more. A Christian nation is no more. We now worship degeneracy, hedonism, nihilism, and cultures of death.

We became blind by our selfishness. Our volk became subverted by outside influences as well by our own immorality and decadence. America is breathing its last breaths.

Our Search for Survival

Nothing we can do at this point can save America. America as it stands today is dead. We failed to listen and learn from the words and stories of our forefathers. We failed to prevent sin from crushing our american volk. So what will happen to us?

We do not know. Some past empires collapsed and their ashes formed a paragraph in our text books. Some underwent death and rebirth like the Phoenix. Others have survived but are only former husks of their past glories, their greatness forever gone to the eons of time.

What can we do? We can only do two things. Learn from the mistakes of our forefathers and fight for a better tomorrow. We must past our genes on. We must survive the eventual collapse of the USA. We now have learned more about ourselves and our history. We have seen the errors made by many people of the world. We have witnessed the actions and consequences that lead to their fall from grace. We must take those lessons to heart and never let ourselves falter the same way as the Romans did, as the Brits did, as the Slavs did, as the Greeks did. This isn't the first time that an empire lived and died. We're just another record to chalk up in the history books.

Oh what a glorious opportunity we have! Oh what a time to live in! We were granted with the best gift we could hope for! We men will become the founders of something greater than we can ever imagine. We will give rise to our new empire, to a new place for our future to live in. We will win the upcoming wars and start fresh with nothing to lose! We must seize this by its balls. Carpe Diem! The final hour is at hand. The final countdown has begun. We will become Gods to many generations later as they study our exploits and our arduous fight to become the new superpower. Do not let this cloud your mind, but take peace in it. You were born for this! This is your destiny! This is your time to shine!

Rejoice and be glad!
