I've been reading American & European feedback on the question of men's jewellery. Men tend to report that the only items that should be worn on the body carrying aesthetic, functional, status & monetary value are watches and wedding rings. Women from America and Europe are quick to chime in and reinforce this opinion even stating that they regard males with chains, bracelets and rings as untrustworthy. But I have to ask why.
Do men really have to stay shackled to this silly attitude that they are expected to be ever conscious of time (another word for money) and the other half's presence on earth with anything else being an unnecessary burden or vain indulgence. Why must a man be in a life term contract with a female to be pardoned a light adornment of gold or silver. Why should he be vindicated of vanity when wearing a Rolex.
I believe the answer can be found in Women's contempt for Male freedom and a primal instinctive rivalry with males that openly spend thier own disposable income on themselves, rather than the female.
