3-5 years is all it takes (self.MGTOW)

I met this girl back in 2013, she was literally what I considered an "HB10", a 10/10 in looks. She was a 24 year old tall Norwegian thin blonde, with golden hair and looked like a model. We banged and had fun, and then she returned to Norway.

Over the years I looked at her pictures on facebook, and 3 years later in 2016, she went from a 10 to a 6. Gained weight, face got a little droopier than before, some first wrinkles, basically the product of wear and tear and aging.

Basically, what I learned from looking at photos of girls I liked is:

She will never look as good as the day you met her.

Every day that she ages, her looks get worse and worse. That is the curse of women. They age, at a rate much faster than men. Probably from all their emotions and drama. A girl is in her looks prime from 16-23, then her looks start to wither, by age 30 she's halved her initial score.

How funny yet cruel is this trick that men are played on. Men are attracted to women for their looks, but then they get locked in for the long term and the looks disappear. Looks are something so brief, so quick, that they're gone in a flash.

Men lock themselves into something for a lifetime over something that lasts an instant. It is the definition of short term gain, long term pain. A bad deal.

Good observation, I'm in the process of witnessing a few 9s drop by a point each year myself. It doesn't seem to be quite as dramatic for more average looking girls.

Nordic women hit the wall the earliest. Some of them start losing their looks at 18 -19. Many of them cut their hair short at that time, because it starts thinning.

There's a bar fairly near where I live. When I go on for a walk in the evening I see and hear these post wall women with their screeching voices sitting there. There's also younger men walking by with their young girlfriends. It amuses me that they won't make the connection. - In 10 years your girlfriend will be at the bar, laughing with that horrible raspy voice and looking like that.

It's not only their looks that fade; When they lose their beauty, they also become bitter and resentful. So they lose all their charm as well.

i find that northern european types age faster. probably the fatty unhealthy diet, crappy weather etc.

Not all women... ;) I'm 40 and nobody believes me. If you saw pics of me in my 20s I looked the same, just not as refined. I get the "you age like a fine wine" comment a lot.

As you age so do your tastes. I'm not denying women look their best at 16-23, but if they stay healthy many can look good till there 40s. Some even after that.

This is like saying there's no point getting a new car as it will never run as good as the first time you drive it.

Yes, it's exactly like this. You buy a car and it's good for 5 - 10 years although it continually gets worse. After about 10 years it's fairly shite and you might consider getting a new one. You're unlikely to be able to get a 20 year old girl when you're 30 so you'll either have to leave her or deal with the less than pristine girl.

This is life. Everything deteriorates. Everything dies. Everything ends. If you use the excuse that things won't last forever you may as well just stay in bed all day.

You're unlikely to be able to get a 20 year old girl when you're 30 so you'll either have to leave her or deal with the less than pristine girl.

Pretty sure most 40+ year olds would take a 20 year old over a 40 year old.

The primary reason men want women is for their looks, and the reason I gave is that looks fade quickly. If anything, it's the best reason not to get monogamous or married. If your primary desire or motivation was looks, then locking in defeats the purpose.

Yes, in 10 years it's likely the looks will have faded significantly. Just like most cars will have deteriorated in 10 years. Is this a reason not to buy a car? (seriously asking you).

If your primary desire or motivation was looks, then locking in defeats the purpose.

10 years later. You still got at least 10 good years. Maybe more if you're lucky.

The car comparison is not good. Some men need cars because no other transport is available. No man needs a woman to live, work, etc. Also, with cars you buy them, are stuck with it as it deteriorates and will get a new one or at least less old one to replace it. The equivalent of buying a car is marrying a woman. Have fun replacing that woman when she deteriorates. Divorce court is not a fun place to be. No car or motorcycle will divorce you, they stay silent as they get replaced and you can enjoy the next one no strings attached except fond memories of the good times you had with the vehicle.

The key is to protect your freedom to replace the woman. At all cost. If you are not married, have no kids, no bs like joint accounts and better yet dont even cohabitate, then you are free to indeed replace her by a younger model ;) Marriage and all this other bullshit robs you of this freedom and gives you nothing in return. Nothing, zero, zilch. On a sidenote, having this freedom gives you so much more power in the relationship because she knows you can next her at any time. Planning to get lazy and fat ? Next. Notice how many women blow up and get borderline obese after marriage. Because you lost the power to next her.

Assuming you were polyamorous or FWB, then I agree. But being polyamorous or FWB is the opposite of "locked in", as is the key argument in my post.

If you were married or monogamous (aka locked in) however, then it wouldn't be worth it.

The only real lock is having kids. I would never advise getting married but it's not permanent.

Regardless, if you're not into prostitution then it may very well be worth it. It's subjective.
