Before the game, NBC Sports and other outlets were showing that United had set up in a 4-3-3, but listening to Mou post game, it seemed as if he still used a 4-2-3-1; he mentioned that Pogba was playing as a number 10 behind Zlatan, and that at one point he wanted to play Rashford there but ultimately decided against it. The other notable game where Pogba played in the number 10 role was in the Europa League against Feyenoord. Do you guys think we can be successful throughout the season mainly using 4-2-3-1?

P.s.-Gutted we haven't been able to see Mkhi for an extended time, hoping he gets on the pitch soon!

There was an average position map posted somewhere on here and it looked more like a 4-3-3 with Herrera as the CDM and Fella and Pogba as no. 8's but take that for what it is.

Pogba was definitely the most advanced midfielder and I think that's what Mou refers to when he says no. 10, just that player that is expected to be in the hole between midfielder and striker when we're in possession.

When you see a graphic on TV of the lineups, they're just guessing what the formation will be. When United release the team sheet, they don't give out the formation.
