More-or-less. We need to deal with it, rather than placing our heads firmly in the sand until it goes away.

I agree with and support this sub about TRP's ethics problem. It's why I don't identify with them. So many people over there try to use the very real facts about men and women to construct justifications for treating women like shit.

On this point I'm with this sub and condemn TRP.

On the other hand, it's observations about women's preferences in men, their behavior towards men they like vs men they don't. The reality of sexual-dimorphism and it's psychological implications for how men and women relate to each other and on and on are right on the money.

Notice how this sub spends almost all it's time reacting to unethical statements over at TRP and MGTOW. Justified yes. Such reactions are apt. But we don't spend much time addressing the logic behind TRP academic contributions. Why? Because they are dead-on, and people don't want to admit it.

Try going to the sidebar over there sometime and reading the bedrock material absent the angry assholes using it as an excuse to be one. Just take in the logical arguments, and you'll see, this shit is undeniable.

In fact, your very reaction to the material will itself likely serve as further evidence for the material itself.

It's time to face reality. Sometimes the truth comes from shitty people, with shitty motivations. We must then separate the 'wheat from the chaff' as it were and recognize the logic behind some of the assertions while rightfully opposing the motivations behind so many of the theorists.

Kinda like how the United States took advantage of Nazi rocket technology after the war despite diametrically opposing Nazism.

Anyone who goes over there and reads the non-woman hating stuff knows they are on to something. They can feel it. Then they oppose it not because it's illogical, but because it makes them uncomfortable.

They don't like the notion of human behavior being predictable, and the notion that gender roles are largely based in biology rather than imposed by a nebulous villain.

The men think they want a woman who will take charge and be a career powerhouse...even as they are drawn to the bubbly, submissive 22 year old at MacDonalds.

The women think they want a man who will defer to them and admire them as strong, take-charge successful 'strong' women....even as they are drawn to that rebel in a leather jacket who utterly refuses to defer to anyone and naturally takes charge of situations...and the women he's with.

These are some of the realities of our world. They are not because of sexism. They are because of biology.

Yet, people don't want to see it. Fine. But at some point the conversation will have to be had if we want to call ourselves skeptics and logical beings.

Don't dismiss all of the message just because the messenger is shitty. Especially when deep-down you know the message is absolutely dead-on correct.
