Thoughts with Pogba at the #10/AM role (self.reddevils)

I feel like we got a glimpse of Pogba at the AM role that a lot of people have been asking for on this sub against Pool. Just curious what y'alls thoughts were of his performance there, and if we should stick with him there?

It's hard to judge in that type of game where nobody had a second on the ball - nobody could take control of it because there was always someone in your face as soon as the ball came to your feet. It was frantic.

I think Pogba was really poor last night, but that doesn't mean never play him at #10 again. He might shine there, he might not. It was inconclusive.

This. You can't really give last night any merit for the fact that even when he got the ball there was noone really pushed up to create. The few times we got forward it seemed Ibra was dropped back starting the play and noone but Pogba and maybe one winger up the field.

Pogba won't be a 10 under Jose, he will use him sometimes though in that position in order to play with 2 defensive CM behind him. Pogba' s role will be the same Fabregas had at Chelsea under Jose. Next season Mourinho will buy a new 10.

Honestly, we don't need another make-shift 10 in our team. We have more than enough.

Pogba is known for his adaptability in most positions but his best is playing on that left side of the midfield. He needs to own that spot and become the best.

He isn't agile enough, and his 1st touch is average
