That's not really how it works. "Gender binary" refers to the social idea that you are either a man or a woman. It's true that men can be feminine and women can be masculine under that binary, but the binary does not acknowledge any concept of percentages of both genders being in the same person.

While that is a very descriptive notion of gender, it fails to address the fact that notions of femininity and masculinity are very prescriptive in what they do or do not include; think about how boys can like barbie dolls if they want, and that's considered "feminine" of them, but in truth it doesn't make them any less of a boy to like barbies: they're still "100%" male. So, we can see that none of those masculine/feminine traits are necessary qualities of men/women, which leads us back around to the very concept of a "gender identity"; identity and ascription are two different things. What society ascribes to men and women are not necessary qualities of men or women. What you identify as, however, is an essential part of who you are.

That in itself is a deviation from the ascriptive/prescriptive gender binary. A descriptive identity is about how you see yourself in the world; I see myself as being fundamentally different from people who are men and people who are women, so where do I fit in? Well, I know my biology, but that's different; my identity, relative to the constructs of my culture, is both masculine and feminine, but that's different. So, who am I? It's complicated, but the way I see it, how I see myself matters.
