Who cares? What are you suggesting

[–]black_squireMartial 0ポイント1ポイント  (0子コメント)

I'm suggesting that our top goal scorer isn't doing a lot of scoring at the moment so maybe someone else needs a shot at the job.

Zlatan hasn't scored in the league since the City game

One day you would want to drop Rashford, Martial and the list goes on.....

No. I'm aware about giving players time. But when was the last time United had a main starting striker above 31 years old? Only Sheringham in 2000 - 2001 comes to mind, but that was after he had accepted a bench role and taken his chance when others lost form.

We have to realize that Zlatan is 35 and father time remains undefeated. He'll start to drop off sooner rather than later, it's just a fact of life. If we didn't have other options I'd be okay with him starting all games.. But we have Rashford in the team. Why not get him some starts and see what happens?

He was awful at the start of last season as well and PSG fans were saying that he was holding the team back and had to be sold. Yet somehow he turned it around and had one of his best seasons ever, so don't be too quick to dismiss him. He missed a lot of the preseason this year because of the late transfer so he might just need a bit more time to get warmed up. I agree he has been looking horrible in the last couple of games though, but it's far from the first time he has had a slow start to a season. I've lost count on how many times I thought his time was over and then he still proved me wrong in the end.

Jesus Christ, imagine this place if we had lost.

Yes. Rashford in the middle, with lingard and Mata on sides, with Pogba and Herrera in the middle.

Mata behind Rashford, Pogba and Herrera as CM behind him, With Lingard and Miki on left and right respectivley

Both Zlatan and Pogba have been mediocre to poor in quite a few games (except Leicester), but because of the shiny new toy syndrome they don't seem to be getting much criticism.

Come on, we had no playmakers on the team today.

For instance, Young was playing more left back than left wing.

A break yes

He's ancient and new to the league. I'd say give him some more time to settle.

In relation to last night the pace of the game was so fast that it just ran past him. We did well slowing it down in the first half but after HT both teams were going at it end to end at Mach 2 at times.

He's not the kind of player who can keep up with that speed, not anymore. We needed Rashford in the middle last night IMO.

That being said, he should have done much better with that header.

He's not scored in a few and he's missed some big chances granted, but I think it's just a frustation and over thinking it thing as with any striker. The longer the drought the more they panic in one on ones. Will City drop Aguero if he doesn't score in the next couple of games? Highly unlikely.

Rested is a different matter. Which he may very well be for Thursday. But I think in the league be needs our faith for longer than a few games. He's already on 5 for the season which is hardly terrible 8 games in, even if he's missed a few.

I hope he turns it around he has been poor for so long he has missed a lot of crucial chances

Took three years before people realise Rooney needed to he dropped but 2 bad games and we say he should be dropped lol. That being said he does need to do more and we could do with more mobility up top but it stood out more due to the lack of pace in the side yesterday. No shaw martial miki etc to provide pace on the left and centre meant zlatans lack of pace was more exposed. If he has pace around him it doesn't matter

He wasn't great yesterday but something about the team as a whole clicked, so I wouldn't be in a rush to change anything. It's hard to be dissatisfied with any aspect of last nights match, I want that same team to work together some more.

If I was Jose knowing how he planned to play I would have left Zlatan on the bench with Rashford uptop and Lingard on the wing. We didn't really play the usual Jose way of looking to use a target man. We seemed to be playing it behind the defence more which even in his prime pace wasn't exactly Zlatans forte.

Rooney's output was shit for two seasons before he got dropped.
