No Love for Fellaini (self.reddevils)

Fellaini has performed really well in almost every game he has started (bar the Watford game). I get that Herrera has an exceptional game. But Fellaini did his thing yet again.

Doesn't he get no love?

This is true, However, he's offers literally nothing offensively.

Problem with the game was that he was needed to offer control but that also meant we lacked someone who could do something other than that. Till we get that player/Carrick plays/etc, this kind of games will always require some spark from our attackers to do something or so. Like today, it didn't really come off and so, we drew.

"Literally nothing" would be something along the lines of hoofing it back to DDG or out for a corner every time he gets the ball and going to our goal when we get a corner or set piece.

Didn't he get on the end of our only corner of the match?

Like the rest of the team he was used very conservatively and only ventured into attacking areas from dead ball situations.

Meh just don't enjoy him as a player.

You need to be a Sunderland level club to be happy that a midfielder played well defensively yet offered absolutely nothing going forward. And not just nothing , he is a negative moving forward in all fashions. He can't even read the ball on target properly.

I get and can appreciate when he "plays well", it's just that him playing well isn't what we need from a midfielder so I'm not quick to praise it.

I'm sorry, but he was at fault for the one of the only couple of chances Liverpool created when he didn't track Can's run.
